Works well
So far, so good. Have used this product three times so far, and it seems to be doing an excellent job. I love how it goes up the walls of my above-ground pool and cleans all the way up to the coping. It's a little bit of a hassle to take the bag out and wash it out, but as I said, it does a great job cleaning. The price is right as well.

Exceeded My Expectations
I love this pool vacuum. I started out with a cheaper ($140ish) battery powered pool vacuum in another brand and it didn’t even last three days. After a lot of research I finally decided to buy a corded vacuum and am so happy I chose this one. I’ve kept my vacuum in the pool most of the season and there are a lot of trees around our pool so I turn the vacuum on 2 or 3 times per day on some days. It gets everything in one cycle and even climbs the walls of our 24 ft above ground pool. The cord floats and never gets in the way of the vacuum. I only have to empty the vacuum/ clean the filter out every 2 weeks or so. It holds a lot and the filter bag filters very fine particles. The entire inside of the bag could be full of leaves and gross debris, and the outside still looks perfectly clean. I’m amazed by that! When it’s time to clean the filter bag out I usually empty as much of the debris as possible, spray it down with a water hose, and run it through the washing machine by itself. It’s very easy to reinstall the filter bag afterward.

Good Cleaning Robot
This robot works as described and does a good job on our pool. I usually ru it for two cycles just to be thorough. It’s easy to clean, set up, and use. Just throw it in and turn on.

Bad impeller, no option to replace.
I do not review products. Bought this at the beginning of pool season for a 5000 cubic foot plunge pool. Seemed well made, had great reviews. Replaced an Aiper model that still works but was constantly tangling the cord. The Aiper feels cheap in comparison. The Dolphin worked great until the impeller blade broke. I use, on average, once a day to every other day. I searched Amazon and the manufacturer’s website for a replacement with no success. I contacted the manufacturer through Amazon and have not gotten a reply. I bought an impeller on Amazon from the manufacturer designed for a different model; it was not directly interchangeable and had to be modified at the hub. After said modifications the impeller worked perfectly. The fan aspect of the modified replacement impeller matches the original impeller. The Dolphin was restored and was working as expected; until today. I opened the top to inspect the impeller and it seems okay. There was a cable that had dropped from the housing that perhaps was interfering, but I saw no damage on the cable to implicate that scenario. So perhaps I will figure it out and get it working again, but the bottom line is I should not have to undertake any of the repairs on a machine that is a few months old. The impeller is a simple fix, if there was a replacement available. I would still avoid this particular product, not necessarily the brand. Again, it seems very well made, with an unfortunate weak link. I will contact Dolphin directly on Monday (it’s Friday afternoon currently) and see if they will refund, replace, or resolve. I will update the conclusion…

Great entry level Dolphin vacuum!
Great little vacuum. Cleans my 30x15 foot rectangular pool just fine. Love the cloth filter because it picks up everything. Hope the cloth is durable enough to last a few years. I try to use it about 3 times a week. Pool stays pretty clean. I recommend this unit for sure.

Could be better
Unlike my model s50 this controller did not have a mounting bracket and no way to mount as the previous controller.Filter is a pain to remove and clean and reinstall. Only way to address questions was through chat and disappointing. Light on switch remains on after the cleaning, so you will have to constantly monitor till it stops and cleaning cycle has completed. Poor instructions for this unit.Good but could be better.

Works great!
Only thing I don’t like about it is that you have to turn it on and off for each use, there is no way to set it to automatically clean periodically

very easy to assemble and get started. easy to clean quite heavy to lift from the water to the pool side but I found that using a hook made that easy Altogether, value for money and very easy to operate

A reasonably priced robot cleaner that cleans the wall as well the floor of a medium size pool efficiently and, so far for me at least, reliably. The more or less budget price means you don't get a programmable controller; the machine has to be switched on manually, (it switches off automatically at the end of a run cycle). So be prepared to have to switch the machine on well before you want a swim. The filter is efficient at retaining the debris it vacuums up but cleaning the filter bag is fiddly and isn’t as easy as cleaning the filter cassettes fitted to more expensive models but it’s got a large capacity so you won’t have to do it too often. Being a Dolphin, spare parts seem relatively widely available here in theUK which hasn't been my experience with other manufacturers. All in all, a good machine for the price from a well-known manufacturer but if you want more bells and whistles and easier maintenance you may need to consider moving up the range and spending a bit more.
