Great little light
So far so good, have used a lot already. Battery life seems good. Had issues at first trying to charge, didn’t seem to want to go past 70% - but may have been user error on my part, no further issues yet. Love the wireless charging and the charger box, but I wish the actual light had a usb to charge aswell, only as a backup option, but not a reason not to buy. Do love the light, so small but yet so powerful.

Great red and while light with awesome versatility!
The Wuben X3 is another awesome flashlight! It combines the best features of a right-angle and standard flashlight. It also replaces the need for me to carry two flashlights when I go camping with its Red and White LEDs! Previously, I have been carrying a Wuben X1 daily which is a great flashlight too. The X3 is a little shorter so easier to pocket and retains the same rectangular profile. Its body shape not only keeps it from rolling off a table but, with its adjustable head, it is easy to aim hands-free at something or provide a 'ceiling bounce' for area lighting. The magnetic base also allows it to 'stick' to anything with iron for great lighting options. The dual LEDs provide a great option for me at night. Specifically, I really like the red light for extended use outside at night, whether sitting at a picnic table or walking around camp after sunset. The red light doesn't attract bugs, so it is really nice when sitting out at night enjoying a beer with supper after a big day hiking! The user interface is also a real winner for me. A long press turns on the red LED and a quick press illuminates the white one. When lit, a quick press will turn it off and a hold will step the light level up to maximum brightness where it will start all over on low. Super easy to use and very intuitive for me. The little display also makes it easy to assess the battery level and the lumen level of the LED. Charging is very easy with the included base and it also supports magnetic charging. Overall, this is a really versatile light that is very versatile for many different uses and is going be an awesome addition to my daily carry. Added April 13, 2024: I have been using this light a lot and find it to be really useful. The MAGNETIC CHARGING I use with my cellphone is working really well to keep this light charged. I love the blue "heartbeat" I get when it is charging on the cellphone pad. The magnetic base and swiveling head is super useful for a lot of everyday needs. And, I like the red LED at night because it attracts fewer bugs. I am super happy with this unconventional flashlight. Some simple things are easy to overlook like its rectangular body that won't roll off a table and the usefulness of having both a white and red LED. This flashlight is still an awesome option for EDC!

Wuben X3 - A True Everyday Carry
The Wuben X3 is a phenomenal flashlight that satisfies the needs of an EDC with tons of extra features. The design is compact and lightweight, making it very easy to carry in a pocket, or clip to your clothing. 150 lumens is bright enough for a basic EDC, and turbo mode can provide up to 700 lumens briefly when you need to see more. The top does get a little hot after a while, especially in turbo, but the body stays completely cool to the touch. I agree with another review saying that the clip is a little tighter than ideal, but it gets the job done and definitely won’t fall off by accident. What makes this light stand out from the competition (and worth the extra cash), is the plethora of neat features. I have purposefully looked for some of these features in a light before, but never imagined I could have all at once: 1) A magnetic tail that can hold the light up on any surface a magnet would stick to. This is made even more useful by feature #2. 2) The swivel head. Honestly, this is just fun to play with. It twists very cleanly at a 45 degree angle, allowing the light to point straight out, or at 90 degrees to be used as a work light as shown in the pictures. Twisting the head does not stop the light from working. 3) A dual emitter with both white and red. While a white light is an obvious necessity for EDC, I often prefer a red light to preserve my night vision and not make me totally dependent on the flashlight I’m using. This red light even has two output levels, and high (80 lumens) is surprisingly bright when your pupils are dilated from the dark. 4) An OLED display. It’s never been easier to know what mode you’re using, and how much battery you have left! 5) Wireless charging. This could be a pro or con depending on how you like to charge things. It’s very handy if you already use wireless charging for other devices, but if you’re a USB-C purist like myself, it does mean carrying an extra device with you on trips. Of course, if you get the charging case like I did, the case is charged via USB-C anyway. 6) A charging case. Yes, like AirPods. No, not perfect. The flashlight can rattle around side to side in the case a little, but the charger is held to the bottom magnetically so it doesn’t actually affect its use aside from being slightly bothersome. I won’t complain too much because the extra charge is nice to have on a camping trip, and it doubles as a power bank for your phone. The diffuser on top also allows it to be used as a lamp that doesn’t blind you when you look at it. If you don’t care about any of those features though, you’ll probably be fine without it. I got a black version of this light but if I were to buy it again, I would probably go with the white option. The white is the only glow-in-the-dark color, and I think it can be nice to have every once in a while to help you see the flashlight in the dark. All of the colors come with a blue LED to light up the body during use, but this felt unnecessary to me and I turned it off at times with the convenient 5-click toggle. This is the second Wuben X series light I have and I love the one button user interface design. The last brightness used is automatically saved when turning the light back on (for both red and white), and turbo can be instantly accessed with a double click. Holding the button changes modes while the light is on, or turns on the red light when the light is off. A triple click gives you strobe mode, and 4 clicks will lock or unlock the device to prevent accidental power on when carrying or storing it. I would have liked a couple of the options that are on the Wuben X2 to also be used here: instantly turn the light on in the dimmest setting (this was the same control that is instead used to get the red light on the X3 so that’s ok, since red mimics dim), and programmable brightness levels (not absolutely necessary since the light doesn’t get as bright as the X2). Overall, I’m very happy with this light as an EDC and highly recommend it!

Love and hate this light
For starters, I love this flashlight. The utility of having a light I don't have to plug IN to charge is really nice. I have wireless chargers all over my house so it's literally never a problem to keep this thing charged. The build quality feels fantastic I bought the one with the charging dock too, which charges the light through the magnets at it's base. This is another great implementation since you can just leave the dock plugged in on your desk and grab the flashlight whenever needed. Except you can't! They made the little dock so freaking lightweight that if you grab the flashlight, you'll also pick up the charging base. Not only that, but your charging cable will likely dictate where it sits regardless of where you actually want it. You legitimately need to double-stick-tape it down or something. They really should have made the charging base heavier. Much heavier I LOVE the swivel head! Enough said The controls are super easy to learn and get used to. I wouldn't go so far as to say "intuitive", but easy enough The clip is VERY tight. Good luck getting it onto anything. At least it shouldn't come off by itself once on The worse thing about this light however, is the one and only most important feature - the light itself. It's a nice, clean, white light. It's just not bright. I have another similarly shaped, though clearly lower quality light who's medium brightness is just a bit less bright than this X3's brightest turbo setting. The brightest continuous (non-turbo) light on the X3 is less bright than the second-lowest on that other flashlight. I often find myself forced to use the turbo mode just because the others aren't bright enough. It's rather unfortunate because I love the light so much in nearly every other way

Solid light, love the red lens!
Like others have commented, I too have purchased a second X3. I bought my first one to ride at the front of my shoulder on my duty vest. In that position, the light points down to illuminate the area in front of me for a hands-free task light. It works perfectly for this. The adjustable levels allow me to choose the level of illumination I need. Plus, the red light option was one of the biggest factors in choosing this light. I wanted it to allow me to be stealthier at night, but it more frequently just serves the purpose of giving me usable light without really blowing all my night vision. Mounted externally, it’s held up to the elements and not skipped a beat. That pun was truly not intentional. Now I have another X3 to keep handy for use outside of work. This clips to the sling on many of my backpacks and sling bags, giving me hands-free light there as well. I like how the battery charging box can serve as a lantern, a feature I have not used yet. I don’t mind not having a usb style charging port since I have the battery box for my lights. The initial charge in the light and the charge in the box is enough for most usages. Plus, it’s always great to have that spare power for other devices when the box is used as a battery bank. Frankly, if it’s really important to have light, I carry extra lights anyway. Can’t forget to mention the ingenious charging cord lanyard. This was a pleasant surprise. The lightning adapter plug tucked into the side of the lanyard clip is also a nice touch. The light’s lock-out function to avoid accidental activation is another nice feature. I found this light to exceed my expectations. It’s small, light and seemingly well built. I think I’ll be getting more of these.

I love it so much, this is my second one
I love my WUBEN X3 Owl I love that it looks like an Owl I love its size, I love it so much, this is my second one. I didn't know what a flashlight could do until I found the X3, or it found me, I read a lot online. First off it looks different, in an excellent way. It's not cylindrical, like most keychain or pocket lights, it's like a large box of match's, with some heft to it, it fits in the hand nice easy to grab and hold. It fits in the pocket comfortably, you know it's there without getting in the way of any other pocket necessities. It's easy to retrieve, especially if you use the attached pocket clip which works on your pocket, hat, backpack any strap wherever you need. It's easy to turn on and operate one handed, select the desired brightness, and see just how much power you have left, till your left in the dark, on the provided display. also emergency blinking and SOS modes. And that's just the beginning. There are two LEDs, one white and one red for those times when the white one is too bright or you just want to be noticed. I didn't realize that using a red light would produce less glare and be more useful in many situations where bright light isn't needed. There's also a set of auxiliary blue lights built into the case, so others can see you from the sides when walking the dog at night, or let's you know your light is charging wirelessly. Speaking of Charging with its included portable dock and 3000 mAh battery pack is easy, just drop it in, and close the top. If you choose to use the light with the top diffuser closed, it turns into a great lantern for camping while charging. No dock, any available wireless charging location will do, yes it wirelessly charges. Need more power, use the included lanyard charging cable for the X3. to charge your phone or device. iPhone and USB-C adapters are included and integrated. Perfect camping companion. There's more; magnets that stick anywhere, as well as a rotating head that's houses the two LEDs, the source of it's nickname, that goes a full 180 degrees, and its "fit anywhere size", max 700 lumens make it the perfect work light. YOU CARRY IT IN YOUR POCKET! I like this light. The only bad thing I would say, is that there is no direct port charging availability, can't just plug a cable into it. Not a deal breaker for me. Amazon also made it easy to get; all the Wuben discounts included, fast shipping, and easy returns. Don't mean to sound like a commercial but I really like this light and recommend it highly.

Not great
I purchased this light back in October 2024. Right out of the box I felt I had a bit of issues but dismissed it as just a user error. It came locked- to unlock it you need to press power button quickly a few times to unlock. I felt i kept pressing and nothing. I ended up going on YT to watch a video and the video it seemed so seamless. But it took me quite awhile to get it unlocked. That same night I used it and noticed the battery life wasn't too great. I had it at the medium setting and it was just eating up the battery so I switched it to lowest setting and that seemed to keep battery life from depleting super fast. Recently went to the grand canyon and tried using it in my car. It was locked again and when trying to unlock it took forever. Same deal- battery drained fast. Last weekend I used it for the last and final time. I turned it on and left it in the charging case and figured I could use it and keep it charged. Didn't work- it only charges when the light is off. So it defeated the purpose of why I was using it. Battery life- horrible Difficult to change light settings or unlock. Maybe I got a bad model but not worth the money Sticking to streamlight.

Tiny Flashlight, Big Impact
This little WUBEN X3 really surprised me! It’s way brighter than I expected for something so small. The rechargeable case is super handy — no hunting for batteries and charging is quick with USB-C. I love how it twists 180 degrees and the magnetic base sticks to metal, so you can use it hands-free. It’s tough, waterproof, and fits right on my keychain. Perfect for camping, quick fixes, or just having around. Definitely one of the best mini flashlights I’ve owned!

Toller Allrounder
