This tool makes those hard to reach tubing joints easy-peasy. I have a bunch of Hydoviv Brand Filters and I had to try to cut them into the tubing installations (existing) in my new Condo. Each joint took 5 minutes max. I am 82 years old and I don't bend so well anymore. This tool was the difference between having to hire a plumber or a somewhat easy DIY install. Believe me it really made a world of difference. Watch the YouTube videos. It really was that easy. One-handed operation. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOOL! Quality feel and I am sure it will pay for itself for any tradesperson.

I ordered this because of one specific review that mentioned it worked with kegland duotight fittings and EVAbarrier tubing for beer lines in homebrewing. I did initially turn it down because the Amazon AI is, let's face it still not great and possibly biased, go figure. It told me that it would specifically not work with it and to go with another product. A week later I saw a new review about use with these my same beer equipment and he said it was a lifesaver and he is right. The little tool we have for duotight sucks and is worthless, this one is super easy to use, and it disconnected the beer lines cleanly, no fighting. The 6-8mm size was perfect for my beer lines at 8mm OD. It won't pay for itself over time, but the ease of use makes it worth the money vs the frustration of fighting with taking apart beer lines. The center prong feels flimsy like it's going to fall off since it is not under tension, but it worked perfectly. Hats off to the other reviewer.

In some places they are too big to fit into to the line released, but where you can use them they work great

There are a few of theses specialized hose puller tools and I have most of them. This one seems to be the best of the bunch so far with respect to the build quality and size. By size I mean that it is a bit smaller than most and can get into some smaller spaces, by a little bit but sometimes that little bit is what you need. It won't work in real small or tight places though and not so good where multiple lines are installed close together but then almost nothing will in those cases. I would say worth having it for those special need times before you need to go "caveman".

These are a addtion to my box,makes it way easier to disconnect the air lines from the quick connect fittings. Value was reasonable..leverage was great they didn't slip

I work in the heavy duty towing industry, I deal with taking off quick connect fittings to run air to the broken down trucks in order to release the brakes. These specialty pliers do wonders when the quick connect plugs are tough to do by hand. Sometimes there is little work area to get my hands into comfortably, but these fitting disconnect pliers are awesome! Highly recommend.

Useless thing

This very well made tool made working with my reverse osmosis system so much easier. Getting stubborn lines out of push fittings is discouraging; but this tool fits in tight spaces and makes it easier. This tool is easy to carry around since they are the same size as most pliers and so will fit in your tool belt or tool box so that you can carry them around. This tool was a good price for the time and effort it saved me.

Was skeptical when considering to purchase but was pleasantly surprised that it works. Will probably buy the small sized 1/4, 5/16 as well. Saves some frustration disconnecting worn fittings.

Excellent use all the time

Tool isn't very sturdy won't release older fittings that haven't been released in a while

We have been working with quick-connect fittings for over a decade, and the fact that this tool exists is great! Once you get the hang of it is very simple and fast. The clamping force may crack older, dryer tubing but this would tell us it needs to be trimmed/replaced anyway.

Very poor package and it doesn't look that is doing the job as easy as it shown on the video
