The North Face Under Helmet Balaclava Ski Mask

I cycle to work and was finding it difficult to cycle in heavy rain when temperatures were below 5 degrees. I bought this balaclava as it could cover my face, thus protecting me from the icy rain.I dropped a star because I also wear cycling glasses & because the balaclava isn't as breathable as it could be, it causes my glasses to steam up whilst I ride (even though my glasses have anti-steam coating which works in all other circumstances).It washes well on a gentle machine cycle. However, I would recommend getting the size up as it is very tight to get on and off

I also wen't for the size upgrade like others but I guess I may not have known my head is classed as "Large". Hmm, that's depressing.But anyway, this thing keeps the wind out of your years and keeps your scalp warm very well.

Purchased for use for an MTB ride down the Yungas (Death rd) in Bolivia - slipped under the helmet and could be adjusted - easy to breathe through the material and made an uncomfortable smelly helmet usable!!

very lightweight which is what i wanted to use under my helmet, the breathable mesh seems to work very well. will be testing it out in a couple of weeks on the slopes. I'll write back here if there are any problems.

Looks like a very good product, but although I referred to the North Face size chart, the S/M was too small for a 57 head.

Head fits OK but a bit tight around the neck. Fairly warm, fits under a helmet OK. Seems quite well made.

Very light comfortable to were this product does what it saysCannot fault it
