The Rainpoint smart WiFi 2-zone water timer and smart hub are excellent for enabling a fully automated irrigation system. The water timer feels robust for outdoor use, and the hub display is very well organized with a bright color LCD screen (probably around 7" diagonal). The Homgar app is easy to install and the pairing of the units worked seamlessly. The app is well organized and easy to navigate. A bonus feature of the timer is that each of the two valves also have water flow meters. So irrigation plans can be set up not only for a specific time duration but alternatively also for a specific volume of water. This is especially useful for efficient water usage. I would highly recommend this product.

I’m using this for a “misting” application. The app calls is “interval irrigation”.The product works…had to mess around with the installation but got it working. It works well. The app however only allows one type of cycle. If you create first cycle for On for 30 seconds and off for 10 minutes. Then of you want to create a second or third cycle you cannot have a different on/off time. Makes no sense! In the morning when it’s cooler you may want a shorter On time and longer Off time. In the afternoon you want a longer On time and shorter Off time. The app won’t allow you to do that. The parameters have to be the same. They need to change the app to allow different On/Off times on different cycles.

Easy to install. Simple apps to set up water usage and schedule. Awesome for long trip away from home. WiFi connection is seamless.

I was skeptical at first but it's great. With a ton of new plantings this year, the most important thing is sunlight and water. With the ability to create watering "plans" you can get very specific about much water your using and when. I'm only a week in so we'll see if it holds up.

This is a great little system that is expandable into other devices. So consider the eco-system and if it will do all that you want out of what you are looking for. The product is clean and well designed. It is intuitive, once set up. It was a little easy to miss a step when pairing the hub with the water controller. But once it is paired, the whole system shines. It also tracks usage which is nice. While it rains and rains here in the PNW, I do not have a need for the add on moisture meter, but it is a nice option to have. Display is big and bright too! Overall, a great watering system to run off of the hose bib!
