Powerful.
Very powerful . I walk all around the house and never lose the signal. Mine is hooked up through the tv optical output. The volume knob on the transmitter is handy too.

Works Perfectly
Using for many months now, this item is great. It works as expected, and I would consider upgrading from same seller.

Simple setup but...
The setup was super easy. There's a paper instruction manual as well as simple instructions on the inside lid of the box.Package came with 1 optical cable, 1 RCA male to 1/8" male audio cable, and 1/8" male to 1/8" male audio cable. All 3 cables were about 3ft in length.Setup took about a minute. Instructions were super easy to follow, BUT I could not get the optical connection to work between my television and this device. I tried different cables as well as different televisions to no avail. Utilizing the RCA and 1/8" cables worked, but the television I planned to use this on only outputs sound via the speaker or optical output. So I could not use the item. The buttons made an audible clicking sound. It wasn't too loud BUT it was definitely noticeable. The delay was minimal and not at all noticeable.

A complete dud
My attempts to make this work as a Bluetooth transmitter only resulted in static. So I set it aside and eventually decided to use it as a simple receiver on a different stereo system. That resulted in no sound at all. It’s pretty clear that my device doesn’t work at all.

I bought 2!
I have one int eh shop, and one on my desk. This thing is awesome, honestly. I have a few different systems in a drawer and this one finally does what I need. I have to have constant, active passthrough to speakers, this does that. I need to not have an annoying delay in audio, this doesn't! The range is pretty good too, the shop system sits against a wall, and I can be outside a good 75ish feet before the bluetooth glitches.Put it up high, get the antennas adjusted and you are golden. I wear earbuds all day for both media consumption and noise reduction from machines.

Just what I was looking for
This unit works like advertised. I use it in conjunction with my Bluetooth hearing aids. I use it to connect to my TV, stereo and sound system (I play bass in a band). The operation is simple and have no issues with it. The only annoying thing is with my phone connected with my hearing aids while I'm hooked to other devices. If I touch my hearing aids or get an incoming call I loose connection to the sound system, TV or stereo. I would recommend this to anyone looking to attach their Bluetooth hearing aids to compatible devices.

One of the two I bought failed.
I bought two of these units, one was used as a transmitter the other a receiver. They worked very well for some months. Then the receiving unit sometimes had no output. It became more and more intermittent until it failed all together.Had they both continued to work, I would have given five stars.

Transmitter for streaming music from Amp headphone jack to bluetooth headphones
I bought this principally to stream music from my Yamaha A-S501 amplifier (which plays music on my Technics SL 1950 Turntable and on my WIIM Pro Plus/Spotify) to my JBL Tune 500 BT Headphones. The Yamaha Amp has a 6.35mm headphone jack. I also purchased a VCE 6.35 male to 3.5mm female jack (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EJ5UV3C?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) from Amazon, which is how I connect this to my Amp.First, I was a bit dismayed, as the instructions are very minimalistic and its not easy to figure out how to connect to my headphones. However, I figured it out and the sound quality is simply awesome. Despite what other reviewers say, there's no latency. However, its not showing my how to turn on the APTX (no instructions in the manual - perhaps the seller can respond to this with instructions).Pros: Price + quality, both exceptional. The range is good enough for my NYC apartment to allow me to listen to uninterrupted music whichever room I may be in. I haven't tested it to the max range allowed. It works perfectly for what I am going to use it for. Also purchased the smaller 1Mii Bluetooth 5.3 Transmitter Receiver for TV to Wireless Headphones, for wirelessly streaming TV sound to my headphones (separate review).I highly recommend this.Update 7/30/2024 - Had to return this, unfortunately. There were some major gaps in playback, as I moved around the living room with my Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones. I replaced it with a Sennheiser BT T100 Bluetooth Audio Transmitter. No complaints on the Sennheiser so far.
