Perfect replacement for IKEA lamps
I bought an IKEA ceiling pendant light that uses the "HEMMA" cord that came with a mounting plate that didn't fit my ceiling box because it only had 2 holes in it. This one fits perfectly and the hook is the same size as the Ikea plate.

Perfect swap for the included IKEA plate
I bought a pendant lamp from IKEA that includes a mounting plate with a built in hook like this to hang the wire from, but the plate didn't fit with my box at all and I don't have the means to alter IKEA's to fit my box. So glad to have found this since I could not find one like this at the local hardware stores and other plates I tried didn't work within the small canopy, seemed loose, and left an unsightly gap between the canopy and ceiling. This fixed all of those issues, and the light now hangs correctly with no gap showing between the canopy and ceiling.

Good product
This came in handy when I was trying to hang a chandelier light fixture cause it has the hook and I couldn’t find it anywhere, it’s sturdy and has held the chandelier up perfectly
