I'm not sure exactly how much this is supposed to help. It filters smoke, yes but very very little at a time. The central filter intake piece seems to be a bit crooked. I don't know if this is by design or a quality issue. I tried to straighten it out by hand but it didn't move and I didn't want to break it off as it seems to be installed using some type of adhesive. The ash tray has a lemon tablet for scent and a filter "disc". The scent is pretty strong with the filter powered on but I feel like its putting out more scent than the air it's actually filtering. The filter has two power levels and it can be charged using a USB cable. If you hold a cigarette to the filter you will see how little smoke it intakes. It's really only doing work if you leave your lit cigarette sitting in the ashtray (which isn't often). Id imagine this ashtray is more effective for smaller areas like cars.

This advertises to help clear the air of smoke in a room. On low setting, the image implies it can work for up to 3 people. On high, the image implies it can work for up to 5 people.... Yeah, nope... this air filter only really works on the smoke coming off the cigarette that is sitting in the ash tray. It just does not have enough power to clear the air of any of the other smoke in the air.I will say, it does great on the smoke right in the vicinity of the tray. I can see this working ok in a very very small space but it just isn't powerful enough to clear the smoke in a large room.If you are looking for something to clear your indoor space of smoke, esp from multiple people, this is not the device you want.
