Using it for my electric shaver as recommended by manufacturer. Works really well compared to just soap and water. Really recommend to keep your shaver always clean 👍

My first one was damaged. I ceaned with a brush and water while waiting for the repllacement. I thought I was doing a good job. The Quick Clean Pod is vastly better than my manua method. It saves time and does a far better job of removing all stubble and other bits. Excellent product.

Series 9000 shaver compatible. £28 comes with one cleaning pod, so not the cheapest. Once opened the cleaning pod is a pain to insert and remove to relid as the pod cannot stay inside as it will evaporate/spill super easy, lost a star for this as its twice the size to store. I keep my shaver clean and wash after use. However it did remove more hair, so worth it for a rash free shave. Takes about 30 seconds to clean, so pretty quick. Doesnt work with 5000 series. Why they could have a compatibility chart in the description is beyond me.

Does the job no more frustration to keep my shaver top top.Ps I am 78.

After having ordered this cleaner for my new Philips i9000 Prestige Ultra shaver I noticed that the product description asserts this is not compatible with that model of shaver. However, fortunately it seems to work fine although I see Philips have an alternative version available that looks slightly different, having a chrome bezel.

An elegant and evidently well-designed product typical of Philips. However purchasers should be aware that the cleaning pod is NOT compatible with all Series 5000 Shavers (as I found out on attempting to use it). You need to check your EXACT model of shaver against the list of those compatible with the cleaning pod.

Does the job, without needing a power source. Clever.

Do not be mislead by the product description. This will not work with all the 5000 series. Given this was a recommended product from amazon after buying a 5000 series electric razor a few months ago i would expect it to have been compatible. Sadly this is not the case, only after looking through manufacturers details can you see it is only useful for certain 5000 series razors. Really should be made clear in the product description and not recomended to those who purchased the 5466 razor like myself. Waste of money in the end. I will be asking amazon for a return even though it is now all opened.

It worked great for about six months, but then silently stopped working without me realising it for about a month or two. Turns out it isn’t 100% compatible with the S9000 Prestige. I’m pretty sure I checked at the time that it IS compatible, though I note Amazon NOW says it isn’t 😡. I took both the Quick Cleaning Pod and the shaving head of my S9000 Prestige apart yesterday, and the pin from the Quick Cleaning Pod that inserts itself into the shaving head clearly DID work at the beginning, but over time its tip obviously ground itself into dust and eventually became unable to drive the pump in the Quick Cleaning Pod that injects cleaning fluid onto the shaving blades. So now I’m left with a broken Quick Cleaning Pod, and three new tubs of cleaning fluid I can’t use anymore. Not happy! My Gillette wet shaver that I’ve had for over 30 years still works, but perhaps just a gram or two of plastic stopping over $100 of stuff from working and me from continuing to buy cleaning fluid pods … and Philips!!!
