As with most supplements, they are taken while trusting in the claims of their performance. HMB as studies supporting its ability to maintain muscle mass. These studies were done in the elderly and now that I'm 50, I'm giving it a try to maintain my activity level. Hard to tell that there has been improvements in my muscle strength but I sure haven't lost any. Deal supplements has been my go to brand for quality supplements at a good price. Plus, they offer some great deals.

I have nerve damage on my left side from a broken neck in a car wreck in 1993 and walk with a crutch. I could not do stairs unless I took them one at a time with my right leg only. After about 2 months of taking this every day (with 10,000 IU of Vitamin D3 this is essential) I glided up a staircase over a little bridge and back down the other side without even thinking about it. I was shocked! Then a couple months later I went to the St. Augustine FL Lighthouse and walked all the way to the top without resting or taking them one step at a time with my right leg. I cried when I got to the top. I highly recommend this supplement.

Been taking hmb for years. Good stuff

I am a believer of this HMB, I've been taking it for 5 weeks now and a couple weeks ago I noticed that my upper arms were looking less loose and crepie and yesterday at the gym class I had a lot more pep in my step and could do more and tire less. seeing noticeable results in such short time is amazing, so I just ordered another bottle plus I got my husband started o them last week and told a few friends too. We do take it with Vitamin D3 and we take 4 capsules per day which is a lot we started taking 2 earlier and 2 later in the day instead of all 4 at once. Capsules are large but tasteless and odorless so not gross at all. I definitely recommend it specially to people past age of 45 ;)

In getting to where age will start eating away at my muscle mass so I watched a video from a well known fitness guy where he claimed HMB did wonders. I decided to try this brand since it is 3rd party tested, etc., as I can't pop positive on a test due to supplements being tainted. The first few doses made me a bit light headed. A friend who tried it at the same time also felt a bit light headed. That only happened post-workout so we didn't hurt ourselves. It only happened a couple of times so it could just be an issue of acclimating to it. Some claim this ups their T levels. I'll know next week if mine improved as I submitted a blood test for this. Blood is the only way to know for sure. My workouts haven't really improved after a month or so, but they haven't gotten worse either. Bottom line is that scientific stufies says this helps so I'll finish the bottle and see if the T is higher next week, if workouts get easier/better, or muscle mass improves. If any of those get higher or better, I'll change the rating.

I'm taking this to help with preventing/slowing age related muscle wasting. It does seem to help. Muscle wasting is hugely annoying.

Great supplement

I usually buy another brand from GNC but they were out of stock when I went to buy more. Thought I would try buying from Amazon instead. Found this brand instead. Same strenght as my regular brand but less expensive for a larger quantity bottle.

You wanna bulk up? Go for this one. Just make sure you keep up with electrolytes to avoid muscle cramps !!!
