Nice
This is a nice thermos bottle; it keeps my drinks cold for hours. The only complaint I have is that the handle is part of the bottle; there's no strap to put onto my wrist.

An insulating bottle that actually insulates.
I am an avid water drinker, so having a water bottle on hand is a must. Now, because of the push for environmental awareness, steel water bottles are the ubiquitous sustainable way to carry one's drinking liquids. Having accumulated a large collection of them now throughout the years, I am happy to say that Hydracentials' stainless steel water bottle did not disappoint. I find it the perfect size for the amount of liquid I consume in a sitting or an outing. Plus, this particular product package comes with some nice additional peripherals. But first I'll start out with the water bottle itself. The product claims to be insulated, with the ability to keep your liquids either hot or cold for 12 hours. I've found this to be more or less true, but more so when it came to a cold liquid. Cold water tended to stay cold for roughly 12 hours as stated, but hot liquids would stay hot-to-warm for roughly 8 to 10 hours. If I had to surmise, the length of continued insulation for hot liquids is probably effected by the ambient temperature. Since it's fairly cold (this review is written in the middle of winter), I suspect this may be the culprit. For example, I'd pour my morning coffee around 7am, and by the time 3pm rolled around, it was room temperature. As for the construction and feel of the bottle, I'd say it's built solidly. It has a good heft to it, and a premium feel. They did not skimp out in materials to create it. This may be a downside for some, as I know there are people who don't like the heftiness that some metal bottles may have. If you're one of these people, this bottle may not be for you. Luckily it comes with a handy carrying strap so you don't have to constantly hold it in your hand as you're out and about. It has a very lard opening to pour your liquids in without fear of spilling. It's also more than large enough to pack in hefty chunks of ice. What it's not ideal for is trying to sip from it without the accompanying lids. I found that many times when I tried to sip from the open bottle it would dribble and spill outside my mouth. This isn't necessarily a deal-breaker, but it would be nice not to have to rely on the sipping straw cap it comes with to imbibe safely. This segués to the accoutrements the bottle comes with. The bottle comes with two straw caps, one regular cover cap, 3 plastic straws, 2 straw cleaners, a neoprene cover for the bottle to protect it from nicks or other cosmetic damage, and a carrying strap to tote your bottle. The sipping caps and straws are nice to have for the cold beverages, and the neoprene cover does a good job in protecting the bottle in addition to providing a better grip to hold onto it. With the cover on, it fits a bit too snugly onto the carrying compartment on the strap, but at least I know it probably won't fall out. The caps and straws are very easy to clean, and I appreciate them providing the straw cleaners. As for the bottle itself, you're best to use a non-abrasive dish wand and/or brush to clean the insides. You don't want to damage the inner insulation by using an abrasive dish-cleaning brush with bristles. I use one that's sponge, and that seems to work best in cleaning it out without damaging anything.I've been pleasantly surprised by the quality and utility of the water bottle, and just further cements my move away from disposable plastic water bottles. Whether you're fairly active, or stuck behind a desk, this water bottle is going to come in handy.

A high quality Insulated water bottle.
This is a review of the Hydracentials Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle BundleHow I rate my reviewed items:Personal preference or comments about the instructions do not affect the star rating.5 Stars – I found no faults with the item.4 Stars – The item functions well but could be improved.3 Stars – The item does work as intended but with some difficultly and needs improvement.2 Stars – The item sort of works as intend but has several limitations or a major fault.1 Star – The item either does not work properly, is very difficult to use, and, in my opinion, not worth purchasing.Summary:Overall, this is a quality water bottle with excellent liquid temperature retention.Details:1. The unit I received had 4 straws.2. This unit did not fit the front cup holders of my full-size sedan but did fit the rear cup holders without the sleeve and very snugly with the sleeve.3. The regular sleeve was very difficult to put on the first time but after leaving it on for a couple of days and removing it a couple of times, it is much easier to install the sleeve. The carrying sleeve did go on relatively easily the first time.4. The covers fit well but must be tighten more than I expected. I filled the bottle with water, put on the cover, tighten to what I though was enough, then shook the bottle. Some water came out. I then tightened the cover a bit more it was water tight. I now tighten the cover more firmly. This is the main reason for 4 stars and not 5.5. Everything seems to be high quality.6. There are 2 types of straps included. The small strap can be attached to either bottle cover and is large enough to easily fit over your hand. The larger strap, with extremely heavy-duty snap hooks, attaches to a second, included sleeve. Personally, I will not be using the carrying sleeve and strap.7. Since I do not normally have hot drinks, I decided to experiment. I filled the bottle (without the sleeve) with hot water from my faucet. Then, using an uncalibrated infrared thermometer, took a temperature reading and got 113 degrees. 5 ½ hours later I checked the temperature and it was 102. The ambient temperature was about 68. Those readings lead me to believe the stated 12 hours for hot drinks to be reasonable.8. I did a similar test with cold water. Filling the bottle (without the sleeve) with ice to about 1/3 of capacity and then added water from the external water fill on the refrigerator. After about 13 hours, there was still a small amount of ice. After 15 hours the ice was gone but the water was still very cold. The ambient temperature was about 68. This test leads me to believe the stated 24 hours for cold drinks to be reasonable.9. The bottle is comfortable to hold with or without the sleeve.
