Using this as a water bowl for my dog. I drink water that is stored in copper and think she should also. Nice bowl. Medium weight, no sharp edges.

I use this as a water bowl for my dogs & cats. I want them to have the benefits of copper water too. It is small and I refill it often. But it serves the purpose.

It is what it says it is. Very attractive "salad bowls" size bowl. Got it for my cat's water dish so she would quit drinking out of my copper mug. She has a water fountain and prefers water in a copper bowl. Their instincts must know the health benefits.

For those unaware, a bowl first starts out as a *flat disk* that is spun while its slowly pushed in from the side to form a *bowl* So if handmade its going to have variation; diameter might be slightly larger/smaller than 7.5" (see pictures) WHATS MOST IMPORTANT: ITS REAL COPPER. Strong earth magnet doesnt stick, AND I scoured the bottom with a screwdriver and its legit solid copper! (Not just clad/cloated) My bowl is just over 7.5 " at the opening and 3.25" deep. Actually fits inside my dogs larger old bowl and the old bowl now works as a slobber catch and no longer hits the floor = awesome! SAD TRUTH: my Rottweiler is being tested for cancer. Bought this bowl and a 2 gallon dispenser (both pure solid copper) beacuse storing water in a pure copper vessel for several hours (typically overnight or 8–12 hours) makes it naturally alkaline by raising its pH level. Cancer can't survive in an alkaline environment. If interested PLEASE DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. I specifically chose a 2 gallon tank because that amount will be used daily between my wife, dog, & myself. Some suggest not resting water in copper past 16hrs to prevent over exposure. If you *complain about color discoloration* again please educate yourself before bashing a genuine product: do not use for acidic liquids like lemon water or milk, (it'll oxidize & turn green). However for cleaning you want to use lemon juice, & salt. Scrub then rinse. Hope this helps.

Great quality

I like the look of copper....there's just something about it. I bought this bowl as a catch-all for small items on my nightstand. For the couple of months I've used it, it has maintained its color, shine, and shape, (not that there's anything wrong with patina, but I prefer that on my old copper). It has a little felt pad on the bottom to prevent damage to surfaces (or to the bowl). It's well-crafted and I find the hammered appearance attractive. Glad I treated myself to this lovely little bowl.
