Excellant scooper for ice cream. It easily scoops ice cream even when it is slightly hard. The handle gives extra support as you scoop. Mine came in blue which happens to be my favorite color. We have used it about a dozen times already and have washed it in the dishwasher, it come out perfectly clean every time. I'll use this scooper for meatballs and cookie dough as the scoop size is just right. Can't say anything negative about it. I will recommend to family and friends

I bought this to make meatballs so I could portion them out properly. It was perfect for what I needed. The handle feels pretty good even though it's not soft (afterall, it's only $9.00) and the release lever works fine. I don't plan on using this for ice cream (especially since it's been touching raw meat) but I'd imagine as long as the ice cream isn't rock hard, this would suffice fine as an ice cream scoop. I could see it not working 100% if the ice cream was rock hard but if it's that hard, this type of scoop wouldn't be good anyway.

Does what it's suppose to. I have reordered 2 times now. I use it for measuring tuna. My last one lasted 3 years with daily use before it broke. So definitely worth it.

Great ice cream scoop! It works well and is easy to scoop up the ice cream and scoop out into your bowl! It works really great and is very easy to clean. I would highly recommend!

While this scoop serves the purpose, it is not the most durable. The scooper itself is rather small. If you do wind up getting a fairly large scoop of ice cream, it can be quite difficult to push it out when using the trigger.

This product works well

After reading other reviews I decided to order this because of the better reviews. As far as color goes I didn't really care because it goes in my kitchen drawer but I got the blue one which is pretty. As a big time ice cream eater this is great. I truly wanted the trigger because I know I will use this for rice, meat balls, mashed potatoes, etc. In other words I like that it is multi-functional. I would recommend this product.

Good quality Price

I ordered this a couple years ago. I have only used it a handful of times and oddly never for ice cream. I had used it for making muffins and cupcakes. I TRIED to use it for ice cream for the first time and the head snapped right off. Now the ice cream was soft and I had put the scoop in warm water to make it easier and I didn’t even get a half scoop in before it broke.
