In my previous review they sent me the right box but the wrong adapter. Never heard from the company over that review, but my second order was correct. Plugged it in, and with some experimentation, got it working (see next paragraph for details)!For Wacom to iMac 2017 users:I had an initial problem with the Mac and my 27QHD talking to each other. This seems to be an issue that doesn’t really have a solution on the net. If you get this adaptor and it doesn’t work right away, make sure your Wacom drivers are installed/up to date, then try unplugging all external monitors, turn your Wacom display on, then plug it into the iMac. I had to connect it to the leftmost USB-C port, but that may have been a coincidence. After that you might have to give the display some system permissions.

A little suggestion regarding who doesn't have a big computer screen, but more people need to look at the screen at the same time:I do a little bit home schooling for my children. It is a little bit difficult for them both sit next to me and look at my laptop. I think having this adapter to connect my laptop to the TV screen is much easier for them to visualize the content.The adapter actually works pretty good. It is clear on my TV screen. It is self-explanatory. You don't need any user manual to tell you how to connect it. Just find the right port, then, plus it in. Here you go. It is easy. So far, I have no problem for using this.

It worked for a while. Maybe I'm a noob but I think something like this should last longer.Edit: Upon reading my 3-star review, Nekteck sent me a replacement. This was in spite of me having it for over the 12-month warranty period. Therefore, I've updated my review to 5 stars for their customer service.

Does not work with my 2018 15" MacBook Pro unfortunately :(

Tried at least three adaptors and this is the only one that works. USB-C is notorious for its incompatibility for multiple adaptors connected in series. I purchased this one just for trying without much of hope, but it turns out this is the ONLY one that works with my 30-inch HP LP3065C display with ACCELL dual-link dvi to displayport active adaptor to further convert it to USB-C. Highly recommended for those who have the 30-inch good/big/hard-to-use monitors.

I needed this converter to run a 90 frames/second VR headset (Vive Pro Eye) off a USB-C port and wasn't sure whether the converter wouldbe able to handle the higher frame rate (even though the horizontal resolution is 2560 rather than 4 K). But it worked without a hitch, so I'm a happy camper.

Bought the adapter to connect my laptop to an external monitor. The adapter didn't work on any cable, pc, or monitor I owned. After about an hour of trying to figure out why nothing was working, it seems like the adapter I received was defective.
