Great Product, Just a few hiccups, but worth the money!
Updated!First off, I do plan to revise my review to four or five stars, why? I'll get to that after some things you should know. The first off is the mold issue you'll read about? It's gone. I reached out to the seller the day I bought this and asked them about it. It took them an hour or two to get back to me. They've added silica packets to the boxes and started vacuum sealing the boxes. Mine smelled kinda like a new car's glove box. (I'm actually letting air IN right now)Second, This is what I plan to revise depending on their response. One of the two slats, yes it's so big it's in two parts, came scratched on one side and with strange dimpling on the other. Normally not a big deal...but they're just deep enough to catch marker ink. Thus making it difficult to clean.Third, the actual product review. First. This thing is giant. You can easily have multiple dungeons on it or you can have one mega-dungeon on it.>The material is solid, I tried to fold the thing up once incorrectly? It wouldn't even let me. It stuck at a right angle.>It's hinges? I think they might have some type of tape inside because they had some resistance to them.>As I mentioned earlier it has two "slats." They're each so big you could easily use one or the other as its own board.>Best part of the two slats? They line up. Per-fect-ly. On both sides. Yeah, they went there. BAM.>I tested the erasability in a corner with three different brands. Slides right off clear. I can see it getting stained after a while, maybe a few years of use? But what board doesn't?>For bang for your buck? You're getting four boards in one essentially. Two physical and two too draw on.I'll update my review to five or four stars depending on the outcome of my damage issue.Edit: Updated my review, while they were not able to replace my damaged slat, the vendor was 100% understanding and refunded more than half of the purchase price.

Perfect d&d board
Didn't expect it to be in two pieces, but thats okay. The first half is as big as I could even fit on my d&d table easily so honestly I'm gifting the other half to my dm in another game. This board is huge. The unfolding ends don't fit together or anything so if it wobbles just use a piece of tape and it works great, plus easy to remove because of the dry erase material.

Big Fan, I Keep Buying Them!
I love these, I've bought this box three times, only because having more lets me keep more maps on hand. Especially as I've been doing a lot of one-shots lately, I can even keep some maps ready to go in wet-erase, and it all just stays so sturdy! I'm a big fan. The only thing I wish that was a little different is if there was a version of this product which was squares on both sides. I never use the hex sides, so I am unfortunately only ever using half of each piece.

Nice and Easy to Use But ...
I like the idea for this product and I like the actual product. It's sturdy, lays flat, and the dry erase markers I have write on it nicely and, most importantly, erase easily. However, there are a few things that keep this product from being 'perfect' for my TTRPG games.1 - The boards are 'slippery' on a wood table.Because the surface is made to write on with dry erase markers, the boards can slide when touched and set on a smooth surface, like a wood tabletop. With several people sitting around the table playing, it's fairly easy to move the boards, especially if you have both set out, making them easily misaligned (if your map covers both boards. I plan to affix some of those small rubber 'feet' to both sides to help keep this from happening. If the board came with them as an option (for those who would like to install them, that would be awesome, imo).2 - The print between the two separated boards is off a bit on mine. That means I cannot align the grids correctly. They're not far off, but it's off enough to bug someone with OCD.3 - Related to #1 above - since the surface coating makes these boards a bit slick on some surfaces, it can be difficult to keep the boards, and your map, together if you're using both boards. It would be cool if there were a means of 'attaching' them so the two boards function as one. Maybe some kind of temporary 'tape' that could be affixed to the boarder area to keep them from separating when jostled?Overall, the main idea is great and I like this better than the vinyl rollout mats. But I think this needs a bit more work to be a $60 product, to be frank. Overall, I'm still giving this 4 stars because it does what it advertises and I do like it.

Perfect for tabletop
Love that it's 2 halves for large and smaller battle maps. Perfect for most ttrpgs that use grid and hex.

Got this for our DM, works really well.
I got this as a birthday present for our DM while we run Curse of Strahd. We were having trouble erasing on the vinyl board, and this works so much better. We use the squares so we have to fold them in, but we are able to fold them in and use the same map for another occasion. It cleans off easily, we've been using it every week.
