DH loves it and can charge one watch while wearing the other. He can't get over how fast and long of a charge he gets from such a short time on the charger.Good product for a great price. It takes up very little space.Although the light is very bright, it does not distract from watching tv while the watch is on it, so works great by his chair in the front room, or could be used bedside to charge over night.

I used to struggle to keep my four solar-powered watches charged. Where I live, clear sunny days are the exception; it's usually cloudy and overcast, which just adds to the difficulty.I bought this solar charger on impulse, and I couldn't be more pleased. It works very well and charges my watches quickly. The rubber cushions allow the watch to charge with little or no light leakage. One of my watches has an uneven bezel (just the way it's designed), so light leaks through the holes, but not badly. Also, that watch has a very large face - larger than the "large" cushion's opening - and the solar panel is a ring around the perimeter of the face, so I used a knife to widen the opening a bit. The other watches have no light leakage at all.I expected something this small and this blindingly bright to get hot during use. While it does get a little warm, especially since a watch "blanket" is on top of it, it does not get very hot. I've had other devices that I thought were trying to start a fire, but that is not the case with this solar charger.I STRONGLY recommend this charger for anyone who owns a solar-powered watch. It completely removes the hassle of "parking" watches on the window sill, in the vain hope of catching enough light.

Multiple nice features. Shorter than other brands, so less likely than other brands to get hit by accident. The soft covers work well, so far (charging my second watch at the moment). Fit nicely, and are soft on the watch crystal.I particularly like the choice of brightness levels, as I don’t want my watches getting hot, so I have run at the lower brightness so far, which seems to work fine. Come with an about 2 foot long USB-A to USB-C cable to hook the charger to your charger, and is both longer and better quality than I expected!In an emergency, if you have a battery backup, you can even use it as a light source.UPDATE: January 2025: Still working well. Today, after charging one of my watches on high power 6+ hours, I got out my infrared thermometer. Metal items in the room were reading 72F, while the watch read 88F. So while they get a little warm, that is it, below body temperature!All-in-all, very happy!

Having lots of solar powered watches like G-Shock can prove to be a slight problem when you can only wear them so often..! That’s where this simple and affordable option comes in. It works and it works well, quickly charging all my watches to full capacity without getting them too hot from sitting in a windowsill. Plugs into any normal USB port and comes with various silicone bumpers depending on your watch face shape. The watch only gets slightly warmed from the light output but nothing that would harm it.

Works very well. Does make your watch hot. Need to monitor this. Eight hour turn off time works very well.

Charges solar watches quickly and safely. Perfect companion for solar powered watches. Wonderful investment - money well spent. Accomplished in a couple of hours what a week on the windowsill couldn’t. Uses minimal electricity- 5 watts. Creates nominal heat- none when set on medium. Virtual godsend- you can thank me later

Fans of solar-powered watches seemingly made a minor pastime of mocking fans of automatic watches for investing in winders to keep their multiple timepieces wound and "ready-to-go." Well, it might be time to eat a side-dish of humble pie, since there exists a similar device for those who find themselves in possession of more than one sun-charged timepiece which perhaps gets a bit less sun than recommended, but obviously can't be neglected. This does the job well, and, as the Brits like to say, is cheap as chips. Recommended, of course.
