Mark Todd Winter Riding Glove

Firstly, I would like to say that the supplier, Just Horse Riders, have been absolutely amazing. I needed the gloves to arrive next day, and on the order page they were Prime next day delivery; however, on the checkout page, it was two-day delivery. I contacted the supplier who confirmed, very quickly, that they would indeed be delivered next day if ordered before 1500hrs. With excellent comms to reassure me of this, the gloves did arrive by midday next day. Many thanks to them; they have a new customer who will be back for more and will actively recommend to friends.As for the gloves...Absolutely great quality from a trusted brand at a very competitive price; the stitching and embroidery are excellent.The leather has that reassuring smell and looks like it will last, and the liner is warm and secure. The two-popper strap is strong and well-made; it affords the perfect adjustment range.Overall, a great purchasing experience and a high quality, good value product.

Excellent gloves! Actually, I cannot praise these enough.The quality is absolutely superb. Practically but, quite beautifully finished. I use these as Summer motorcycling gloves - as all the reinforcements for equestrian riding, seem perfectly suited to biking also. Very resilient leather and very importantly, stitching also. I've actually oil waxed mine - to keep the leather supple, and to provide some waterproofing against rain showers, and dampness.Of course, in winter I wear these as everyday gloves. So, cosy. Once they stretch and mould to your hands, feeling so very comfortable - a thermal lined, quality leather glove, with very little loss of dexterity too.I now have two pairs of these - black and brown (although once oiled, the difference in colour is slight).I have no doubts that I will be buying these, over the years, for as long as Mark Todd sees fit to continue producing them to this high standard.

Delivered very promptly by supplier. Quality is excellent, and fit was perfect (~9inch around palm so chose XL). My only concern is that the leather is thinner than I expected. Being a riding glove I was expecting it to be thicker to avoid the leather potentially wearing through due to holding reins. I bought them with the purpose of walking the dog in cold weather, and having been through a number of previous gloves where the lead wears through the fingers, I was hoping these would be the solution. Only time will tell, and I'll try and remember to come back and add further comments in a few months time as to how well they hold up.Update: Well this is over four years later not a few months!! The gloves continue to be in regular use during winter months. They have held up very well with holding the dog lead on dog walks. Definitely would purchase again. Only change from the original review is that I would probably go for large size instead of XL to give a tighter fit. Great gloves!

I had a pair of these gloves previously for at least 10+ Years, yes: 10 + years! Only when they became shredded on the fingers (probably not a good idea to abuse them loading rough cinder blocks!) did i actively seek out another pair, hoping they were still available and totally unchanged. Lucky me. Here they are; same branding same excellent quality, simple design super comfortable and still at that amazing price. I don’t know why I waited so long to get another pair. As a motorcycle rider they are a fantastic Summer glove even though they are predominantly a horse riders “Winter” glove. I have yet to find any motorcyclists equivalent item that can equal these gloves for style, quality and price. Just remember to ‘feed’ them regularly with a quality leather cream and they will serve you faithfully for years to come.

I bought these gloves as a replacement for an old trusty leather pair that had now seen better days. After reading the reviews on here, I bought on size bigger than I would normally do as these are riding gloves and therefore a snug fit. One size up fits me perfectly.The leather is nice and soft, and the lining is warm and firmly fixed so doesn't move when you pull your hands out, which is a problem with other gloves I had tried.One minor complaint I have is they are a bit short near the wrist, which means they get caught and sometimes sit outside my coat cuff which brings the OCD in me out as it drives me mad unless my gloves are sat inside my coat.All in all, these are a nice warm pair of gloves.

The gloves feel good and fit well but the cuffs are uneven and extremely irritating

Been using them mostly for walking the dogs, very comfortable and keep my hands warm.
