These thumb grips are an excellent upgrade for the ROG Xbox Ally and fit the thumbsticks perfectly. I really like that the set includes three different styles, which lets you experiment and find what feels best. I ended up preferring the CQC Elite version because of the comfortable concave shape. They add a nice touch of control and protection without noticeably increasing the stick height or making it feel awkward. They feel durable, and the grip texture stays very close to the original thumbsticks, so they feel natural in use, just with a little added protection. They slipped on easily with a snug, secure fit and have stayed in place without any issues. They also still fit inside a molded carrying case, which is a big plus. On top of that, the purple color looks great. All in all, these are a great value, and easily recommended!

Skin, CQC and FPS Thumb Grips Joystick Caps are nice and grippy with a good feel.They fit the ROG ALLY Z1 Extreme, after putting on the best case I Could find, loading up a 2TB NVME, and doing all the tricks I finally got in to play and found the joysticks sucked.Too slippery, and made the xbox x controller look like a miracle. You really don't know a good joystick until you use a bad one...cough joycon....cough...After scouring online for options on change outs, I found this was one of the few Amazon sellers so took a chance figuring I Could send them back if they didn't work.I was impressed with how sticky these are and the different options. I have the default ones and they work great for platformers, davie the diver and add a huge amount of enjoyment to the console.The purple color pops the most on the white ALLY.Really pleased with the product's stickiness, 3 sizes and of course that it was easy to get off Amazon with no shipping fees with prime.I paid 9.99 and for 3 bucks a set it's good value.They have popped off once during some intense game play, and I did see some other sets use almost a reverse vacuum but these do the job for 10 bucks.They also fit OK with a face plate cover on, the standard aren't so thick that if you're using a face play cover to throw your ALLY in the bag they'll still fit.If you're having too much joystick slip on your ALLY these'll fix it right up.A plus.

Great quality and grip when gaming , however these do easily slip off keep that in mind when buying it. Overall great buy and price for what you get. Textured surface helps with grip.

These thumb grips are amazing!They seem very well made, and durable. I really appreciate the fact that they give you three different sets to choose from, depending on what you like and what type of game you’re playing.Personally, I really like the taller ones, as they feel very comfortable for me while I’m playing on my Xbox Ally X.They’re fairly easy to install, all you need to do is flip the elastic under the thumb grip and place it onto the joystick. There’s also enough wiggle room if you want the logo facing the correct way. You don’t have to take it off, and put it back on correctly, you can just twist it a bit til it’s how you like it.The look is pretty basic, it would be cool if they offered them in different colors, like red, green, blue, orange, pink, etc.Other than that, I’m very satisfied with these and they work very well! I will definitely purchase these again when I need them!Thanks Skull & Co!

For the price, you can’t even go wrong with these. I got the neon green ones for my ROG Ally but I also use them on my controller. They feel great, they look great, they’re nice and grippy. I’ve had them for a few weeks so far and can’t really see any wear on them so the durability seems good. They’re easy to install, not as damaging or hard to keep taking off and installing as other brands, if you’re doing that for whatever reason.

These are awesome, I have a set on all of my controllers. I have tried them on the original legion go and go 2 controllers and all my official Xbox series controllers, they fit perfect on the go but a little tight on Xbox. Experiment with combos and see what you like, I use two different setups. They feel a lot better than I expected them to, will for sure buy again!

These are great for the Steamdeck. I don't really look at these as a performance enhancing tool. I don't really game better while they are installed or anything like that. I look at these as more of a protective measure. Back in the day if you were using a controller and the top of the thumbstick wore out the solution was simple. You would just replace the cap. With the Steamdeck it's not that simple. The top of the cap is a firm rubber so it will wear out slower but when it does, and it will, you do not have the luxury of just replacing the cap. This is in part to the nature of the thumbsticks. They are capacitive so they can sense your thumbs. This is achieved by running a wire to the top of the cap. This means that you cannot just take the cap off and replace it. Thumbstick modules are 25 a piece and it can be wasteful to replace them if the rubber is the only thing that's wrong with them. Well thumbstick caps fix this issue and these caps get it done. They go on easily and they have pretty good texture. I find the thinner ones have 0 issues sensing my thumbs but the fatter ones do. You can use the stock steamdeck case with the thinner caps as well but it's not possible once you start putting on the thicker ones as they add too much verticality. I'm satisfied with them. They have good grip. They protect my sticks. They sense my thumbs. There's literally nothing to complain about. Grab a set. It's 10 dollars now, but it will save you from a 50 dollar repair later.

Best thumb grips for steam deck oled , love the convex coz the standard ones weren’t comfortable since it has a dip in the center.

My biggest gripe with the steam deck has always been the sticks hurting my thumb and these solve that and they feel amazing. I already feel more excited about using my Deck just having these on it.

Pas grand chose à redire sur ces protections de joysticks.Je souhaitais avoir une meilleure prise en main de ma Steam Deck, les joysticks de base étant creux et surtout, lisses à l'intérieur. Cela a tendance à glisser.La boîte est fourni avec quatre protections : deux bien bombées et deux moins bombées. Elles sont très simples à mettre en place, il suffit de les retourner, les placer sur le joystick puis relâcher le tout et enfin, réajuster un peu les bords pour que la protection prenne bien l'entièreté du joystick et le tour est joué. Tout aussi simple à enlever.Après quelques sessions de jeu, je peux dire que ces housses de joysticks sont parfaites. J'ai mis les deux protections les plus bombées et la prise en main est bien plus agréable entre le bombage et le grip.
