where can we get the original iron bru with sugar not that artificial sweetener stuff? Just isn't the same - not buying the new stuff anymore.

The Irn-Bru we sell is made to the original formula i.e. Sugar. It is specifically produced for the US market to comply with FDA regulations and US labeling format.

I heard that they changed Irn Bru. Is this the old stuff or the new one with less sugar?

This is the original recipe. Irn-Bru for the US market (and Canada) is made separately to comply with FDA permitted coloring additives. Also the cans are specifically printed for the US.

Asking in 2021, is this the original recipe or does it now contain aspartane?

This does contain aspartame, but it has for well over 20 years. When the sugar tax was implemented how long ago, they switched to a recipe of part sugar/corn syrup part aspartame to save money and it has been that way ever since. They haven't made it with all sugar/corn syrup since then.

Was a great gift to remember a fantastic trip

We just came back from a trip to Scotland and while there my grandson just loved getting an Irn-Bru. Couldn't find it locally so I checked Amazon and there it was. A little expensive but this is my grandson ,,,hahha . He was thrilled and said it was exactly the same taste. He is 14 .

A VERY Unique Flavor

"Citrus" isn't quite the right word. "Bubble Gum?" It's a unique flavor nothing in the US can match. 62 calories per can. Makes an interesting cocktail with vodka, not scotch. As for the price? It isn't expensive in the UK! Cheaper than Coca-cola.

Geil aber überteuert

Geschmacklich immer noch wie früher. Kann man sich ansatzweise so vorstellen Wie eine etwas süßere Fanta. Der Preis ist leider so extrem überzogen, dass ich es so nicht empfehlen kann und man sich lieber einen anderen Anbieter raussuchen sollte. War über Weihnachten in England und habe dort zwei Paletten für insgesamt 14 Pfund bekommen und hier für eine über 50€ bezahlt. Das nenne ich mal Gewinnmaximierung.

Une merveille, toujours inégalée dans l’Hexagone, et si difficile à trouver en grande surfaces... Ce soda, typiquement Glaswegian, et répandu dans toute l’Écosse, est unique, tant par sa couleur orange fluo que par son goût inimitable! La saveur de bonbon est indescriptible, il faut le boire pour le croire!!! Après avoir vécu à Glasgow, je suis devenue "accro", et je peux enfin avoir un peu de mon Écosse adorée chez moi! Toute la famille l'adore! Le pack est arrivé en très bon état, aucun problème. Pour les curieux, ou les fans de la boisson mythique de Barr, allez jeter un œil aux pub pour l'IRN-BRU!!! Extraordinairement décalées, et trop marrantes!!! Tout l'esprit de cette boisson de ouf, initialement produite pour compenser le manque de fer des travailleurs sur les chantiers navals! A L'ATTENTION DES "PURISTES": Sous sa présentation d'Irn-Bru "classique", avec sucre, cette version est "allégée": il y a bien du sucre, mais pas seulement. Il contient aussi des édulcorants de synthèse (aspartame et acésulfame de potassium). Du coup, le goût est un peu différent... Mais je ne me suis pas laissée trompée! Je l'ai vite remarqué. Dommage que je n'ai pas bien regardé les images illustrant le produit, car la composition est en gros plan...
