I am amazed at how this heater maintains the temperature to setpoint. I watched it, as the temperature dropped 1 degree, it comes on. When it got back to setpoint it turns off. There is just a 1 degree fluctuation! I placed the heater right next to the inlet of my HOB filter, so the filter pulls heat from the heater and disperses the heated water throughout the tank. The heater is right on the corner with my filter inlet right beside the heater to circulate the heat. This is the best heater I've owned so far. Of course I can't speak of durability. I will update.

This is the best heater for the money. I am so happy to find it on Amazon. Read instructions. Easy to set up. Make sure fill water above it. Works great.

I have this heater in a 55 gallon tank. I've had it about a month and I'm very happy. When I do a water change, I'm impressed by how fast this heater brings the water back up to temp. The display is large, clear, and intuitive - easy to adjust. The display box is a little on the large side and looks a little crazy suctioned to the tank. I just hung mine on the wall next to the tank and that works for me. Also, I'm sure we've all done this, but sometimes I change my water and forget to unplug my heater. I've ruined heaters with that simple mistake. I love that this has a safety and will shut off if it the water level gets too low. The price is hard to beat. With all the functionality, I was actually a little concerned that it was TOO cheap. But the heater has proved to be fantastic. I have no idea about the ultimate life of the heater because I've only had it a month. So far, this seems to be an excellent purchase.

This does exactly what they say it will. Really accurate and holds the temp great. Digital readout is great. Previous heater i had was analog and of course went out on me without me being able to notice that it was no longer holding temp. Heating light was still on but water was actually freezing. The only thing I'd change is the way to hang it on your tank. Maybe it should come with a strong suction cup or some way to attach to tank glass. Right now it just hangs there and can swing back and fourth.

We have this heater in a 45 gallon tank set at 80 degrees and it has been doing great so far. We’ve had it for a couple months and it maintains the temperature perfectly.

I always ran double heaters in my 125 gallon tank. This one heater seems to do the job very well easy to regulate temperature and everything with the gauge being outside of tank.

This is an awesome heater, the best I have ever used. This heater is solid built, very accurate and straight forward. The digital control is great, no more sticking hands in tank to adjust temperature. Set it at 78 and the water stays at 78 in my 55 gallon tank. I have an additional thermometer opposite side of tank and it is spot on. This heater replaced my marineland and by far blows it out of water with accuracy. Very pleased so far with the performance, I highly recommend this heater……

Works good, have had it a few months and it has kept a consistent temperature in the tank. Seems to be made of good materials and is very easy to program.

Heater works great. Incase in plastic to protect fish and glass. Lots of cord length works great. The display works great as well
