Good idea

The items were of poorer quality than I expected. Quite overpriced for what they are.

I was very disappointed. It doesn’t stretch and it would not fit on my teapot. This must be made for a child’s teapot. I threw them away. What a waste of money.

The media could not be loaded. I saw these years ago in a tea shop, and was pleased to be able to buy them. Takes a little experimenting to find the right length “leash” to attach the lid so it’s easy to remove to fill the pot.

Lovely. They do what they are designed to do.

First - the negative: The Seller mentions that this is "anti-drip" - No. These are not the anti-drip style. An anti-drip rope extends to the spout and has a little sponge attached to soak up drips. I haven't tried (yet) but I think I can extend one of these to the spout and, maybe, just use the rope to hold a small sponge in place.Now, for the positives: These ropes are attractive but also very useful! If you are able to use this rope to stretch from the handle to the spout you will make your kettle safer! Most tea kettles' lids will fall off when pouring (and sometimes the lid is just too hot to hold down in place). However, depending on the size of your kettle, you may or may not be able to extend from handle to spout. If not, you won't get the best benefit. If you can only attach the rope as shown on the Seller's page - from handle to lid - then you won't get the most benefit but this will still be helpful.
