NIGHT cooperated with Korean Noble company and developed an ocarina made by plastic of high precision. NIGHT cooperated with Korean Noble company and developed an ocarina made by plastic of high precision. Standard pitch is 440Hz but this item is 442Hz so it is more easy to do ensemble with another brand ocarinas. small hole is located in middle finger area. it is easier to play low note. this is rubber finish. By Ocarina player: Cris Gale / Texas USA They are all wonderful, and I am very happy to have them. The N/N plastic is definitely the best plastic ocarina I have ever tried. Review: One of the only good ocarina brands and makes sold through desertcart - If you're planning to learn the ocarina, this is an exceptional choice for the money being spent. You might think that cheaper options exist through desertcart, which is true, but the fact is that the sound quality and tuning on those are usually inconsistent and generally off. If you want to go for a piece to add to a Legend of Zelda display though, there are some good one's for that. But, the long and short of it is that a Night by Noble ocarina is great for starting out, plus it is less likely to break than more expensive ceramic ones, so there's a plus. Review: Quality item but instructions in Chinese or Japanese or some such, so buy a book too - I had earlier bought a cheap plastic ocarina from desertcart for about £10 on the assumption that precision plastic manufacturing was nailed decades ago (the plastic recorders we had in school when I was a lad were perfect), but I was wrong - that one was rubbish so I sent it back and bought the Noble Night instead, which I had encountered in a review by David Erick Ramos (an Ocarina specialist) on Youtube. The Noble is a quality product, and has an interesting finish in that the outside is ever so slightly soft and grippy, which is good for holding. I was surprised and a little disappointed to find that there was no English either on the box or the finger chart. Thankfully I had also purchased the book "Ocarina method" by Hal Leonard, which is good and certainly more than compensates for any lack of readable information with the product itself. I'm enjoying learning to play. Getting an accurate tone is more challenging than with a recorder but unlike the previous ocarina that I returned, it is clear to me that this is down to my method this time; no amount of method could have persuaded the cheap one to play in tune - it was just way off.

Lovely Ocarina
I bought this as a present for my husband as he's been wanting an Ocarina for a couple of years. It feels nice to hold, the grippy texture means it doesn't slip out your hands when they get sweaty. It's got a very nice sound to it and all the notes are playable when you use the proper technique. It's been a great activity for him in lockdown, though I often send him to a different room as it can be quite loud. All in all, he was very happy with the Ocarina

Catchy tunes ahoy!
Well made and sounds good. My son has played the Ocarina of Time theme song non stop though. But in all it’s very good.

No doubt good, but.......
I don't much like black as a colour so I chose the ivory version, advertised as having a rubber texture. Alas, no. The surface was too slippery for my ancient hands so I had to return it. I'm now pondering the black version, if I'm convinced that I shall be able to grip it.

Musical gifts (Ocarina)
Bought as a gift for Christmas. Obviously takes learning and dedicated tuition time but a very happy customer ;)

Impressive plastic ocarina
I have no complaints about this simple and good value 12 hole ocarina which is one of the best in its class. I now have an ocarina to take on my travels.

Beautiful Sound
I have had this ocarina for almost two months, and I have really enjoyed it. It takes more air to make sound than a recorder, but the sound is clear and gentle, like an "owl hoot". It's good exercise!

Great beginner Ocarina!
This is my first 12-hole Ocarina and I love it! It's such a quality item, the plastic doesn't feel cheap at all compared to other Ocarinas, I don't have to worry dropping it as well. I go the ivory one and I really adore the color, the sound is amazing and it's very easy to hold. I recommend this awesome Ocarina to every beginner! The shipping from Japan to EU was very fast as well!

Very pleasing tone, great pick!
This ocarina is my first. I bought two more for some friends and they are trying to learn it as their first instrument. I normally play brass instruments and piano. But I wanted something quieter and smaller and able to be played in outdoor settings, like my back porch and like a forest preserve. I had (and still have) difficulty learning reasonable fingerings. But I started playing simple tunes within a couple of days, so its not impossible. The instrument sounds great and makes me feel like I'm a turtle dove, lol. The craftsmanship is perfect, as I have come to expect from a Japanese company. The outside surface feels soft, though the instrument is made of a hard plastic. There must be some fancy chambering inside because it sounds beautiful, far better than the plastic recorder I bought some time ago. This was a fun gift for myself!

Tolle Ocarina
