I would look them up on the Oxbow website for complete nutritional information. But for what it’s worth, my rabbits love them.

Q: Is this the same as critical care?

No, this is more of a “pressed” hay treat. I break up a wafer every morning for my rabbit and he loves it! It is a healthier alternative than other treats sold, like yogurt treats and nut products where the sugars, dairy, and fats are not good for their digestion. The Digestive Support also helps support the movement of food through the system so I look at it as his nutritional supplement for the day. If you have a bun, 80% of their diet should be hay and grasses, which is also beneficial for keeping their teeth healthy....my bun gets excited every morning for his crunchy treat along with his hay and some greens. The Critical Care is an emergency supplement to have on hand if your fur baby is noticeably gassy or uncomfortable and won’t eat. Thankfully I’ve only had to use it a couple of times (with a food syringe and tummy massages) to get my bunny back to normal again after eating certain greens. Good to note, too, that the Critical Care is only an emergency effort to use within the first few hours of a digestive issue. Always take your small animals to a vet if they stop eating and are not following their normal routine. There are of course exceptions, but getting care in the first 24 hours can actually be crucial to their survival. Hope that helps!

Q: Where are these manufactured?

I don’t have a packet of these currently as my bunny crossed the rainbow bridge last June. But it’s my understanding that Oxbow hay and products are US made. Definitely the hay is US. Oxbow has a Facebook page where Dr. Micah does videos. Maybe you could post your questions there or call the Oxbow 800#, I’m sure it’s available on their website. Sorry not to be of more help.

Do not feed to bunny

I gave my rabbit one of these, and he started suddenly acting weird. He would not move, and would not eat or drink. A few hours later he finally ate something, but I will never give my rabbit these again.
