Disappointing - not blackout
The "light-grey" colour is, to my eyes, pretty dark; I've attached an image of the "light-grey" (left) and "whiteish-grey" (right) on a piece of white A4 which will hopefully give you some context. The curtains hang nicely - they're somewhat wider at the base than the top, and the material is soft and pleasant to the touch.Unfortunately, as can be seen in the other images I've attached, these are NOT blackout curtains; there's no lining, and daylight just pours through them (the third image is with a blackout rollerblind fitted; much better).I'm broadly happy with these; the eyelet top ones only work with a really thin pole, but these tape-top ones are good with curtain hooks or rings. The fabric is nice, and the colour is pretty much what I wanted. Price-wise I can't complain too much - but these shouldn't be advertised as being blackout.

NOT BLACKOUT, NOT OFF WHITE 🤨
Not blackout as photo clearly shows, will have to buy blackout lining for them grrr. Also not so much off white as silver grey. Other than that they're actually nice curtains. I steamed the crease's out after this photo was taken and they hang lovely... But NOT BLACKOUT

Excellent quality and value for money
Was a bit wary when I bought these as a lot of curtains claim to be blackout ones but are not really in bright, direct sunlight. What a pleasant surprise these curtains turned out to be, excellent quality, material is soft and light weight yet they are true blackout curtains and perfect for my daughter's bedroom. The tape on top (for the curtain hooks), has three different settings so I did not even have to cut them to fit the window, the bottom setting raised them high enough to fit perfectly. They were dispatched immediately by the seller and received within a couple of days, the black color looks really sharp and crisp and gives the bedroom a new and modern look. I wish I had bought them earlier to replace the crappy ones I had before but like other things in life, you get so used to your surroundings that you don't notice how bad or antiquated something looks until a new visitor points it out to you.I can thoroughly recommend these pencil pleat curtains as they are not only reasonable priced but of excellent quality and they have totally transformed the look of the bedroom into a modern one. My daughter also gets a really good night's sleep now (even when she sleeps late) as there is no sunlight creeping in. I guess you could say I am a very happy customer as far as this purchase goes. The photos were taken in bright sunlight so you get a good idea of how effective they are as blackout curtains. This review was posted after a couple of months of use so you get a good idea as to its effectiveness.

Not completely blackout curtains
It’s important I mention that finding blackout curtains for a big bay window that’s bathed in sun most days is very difficult!! But with chronic migraines, I had to try these as some of the reviews seemed promising.I tried the Navy Blue curtains, as it was as close to blackout I could get without using totally black curtains. It does specify in the listing description that the different colours provide different levels of “blackout”. So I’m not sure why people who purchased the light colours are complaining in the comments, I’m guessing they just buy things before they reading about them? So, I knew when I bought these that there would still be some light coming in. But they do let in a lot more than just the 2% as advertised. The material is suppose to be matte but it has a very shiny effect, which does give it a very cheap look. I understand buying blackout curtains with patterns is also a challenge because the extra stitching involved does allow more light through. But I wish there were more options available because just plain and shiny doesn’t look very good at all. They are fairly lightweight given they have 3 layers. And took me very little time to clip on rail hooks and put them up. If you’re a chronic pain sufferer, have back issues or pain in your shoulders and arms, you may still want to enlist someone to give you a hand. For now, I will give these curtains a go, they are the best ones I’ve found so far but are a far way off from being ideal.I’m almost tempted to try and put a second pair up and see if 2 pairs can block out the light! If anyone finds a totally blackout pair, please let us know. It would make the search so much easier 😅

Great curtains at a great price.
I have noe purchased three sets of these curtains as I was so impressed with the first lot. They are a lot thinner than I was expecting so not sure on the claims of the thermal properties but they are certainly no worse than the old set they have replaced!I bought the beige set so they aren't totally blackout, but I was expecting that to be the case. Again, they are better than my old set and they stop enough light and glare to be good enough for me.For the price, you really cannot go wrong, great product which is easy to fit and looks nice when they are up.Very happy with my home improvement bargain!

Fantastic! Do the job and amazing value for money!
Fantastic! Amazing value for money and these curtains look great, but also are genuinely black-out curtains. I didn't need to iron the curtains when I received them, as they are a lovely, soft flowing fabric that hung straight from the packing. Nice feel, great quality and I cannot believe that they do the job of cutting out light for this price! I have attached two photographs, one of the fabric and one of the curtain's ability to block the light. This particular photograph was taken on a sunny day at 11:15 in the morning. I would definitely recommend these curtains!

Ok for the price
These are ok for the price. I was after a pair of low cost curtains for the guest room and I couldn't argue with the price of these. When you pull the string bit at the top to create the 'ruffle' when you hang them, the string is not secured so will just come straight out. Luckily I realised this and knotted the ends to secure it. The stitching at the top looks a bit flimsy, but I don't think it will come apart now the curtains are up.These don't really block out light, but look fine.
