Nutricost Collagen Peptides Powder 1LB (454 G), Grass Fed Bovine

After my long time favorite collagen hydrosylate was discontinued I went on a full search for the best price per ounce, because I know it varies widely. Nutricost easily won in that category and has enough information about the product to seem comparable, although I wish it listed the specific amino acids it contains like some products do. (Further research needed here for true comparison.) But I had to order it to see if it dissolved well and was truly tasteless. Happily it does and it is! It seems exactly like my old product, so I’m very happy. One small note: the container is large and not only doesn’t fit where I want to keep it, but is slightly awkward for me to hold it and unscrew the lid without nearly dropping it. I solved the problem by transferring some to one of my old containers and stowing the original container elsewhere. I truly believe I’ve found the best deal! Update July 2024: I had been so happy with this product so when the next shipment (of my subscription) came I was dismayed to find it a much finer powder. When I put the scoop in waves of what looks like smoke rise out of the jar causing me to turn my head to not breathe it, and it leaves a fine dust-like coating over everything nearby. Even WORSE, it simply does not want to dissolve. It takes me a couple of minutes by the clock to get the lumps out. The previous version was very easy to dissolve, which is good when you’re making your first cup of coffee! I’m so disappointed. Don’t know whether to contact Amazon or the company. I don’t really want to return it because I do use it. I just want them to fix it back like it was. No way I’ll order more unless I can be sure it’s like it was originally. This would be one star now.

I'm on my 2cnd or 3rd order of this. It seems to be very good quality, dissolves easily and tastes good for an unflavored unsweetened collagen powder. I put a warm cup of coffee in a blender, add a scoop of this collagen powder, a teaspoon of monk fruit sugar, a table spoon of butter, and sometimes add unsweetened chocolate powder. That's what I have for breakfast, always good and holds me till lunch time.

Also it had a better after taste compared to vital proteins. It mixes in pretty well - I do use a hand frother to mix it in which I think helps the best. I am happy I made the switch

Has good reviews and is third party tested. Can’t attest to its effectiveness yet. Taking at the recommendation of my doctor. I can say that I was prepared for it to taste terrible or add an astringent aftertaste as many “unflavored” supplements can, but I was pleasantly surprised. I wouldn’t take it by itself in a glass of water, but mixed with my morning protein shake, it’s not even noticeable. It dissolves completely and is easy to drink.

It dissolves quickly and is slightly bitter, but when mixed with chocolate or cappuccino, the taste is undetectable. My skin feels soft and hydrated.

Great product. It’s disolves really well. It is truely tasteless. Clean ingredients. I mix it in everything from water to coffee to tea.
