You cannot go wrong with Spear & Jackson tools. Tried cheaper ones which always end up bending as I have heavy clay soil, so I go back to the best.

Superb quality
Sturdy & robust. Far better quality than most product on the market. These'll probably outlive me. Corrosion resistant stainless steel is easy to clean and the handles ara a lovely hardwood that'll proably just need a coat of your preferred oil every 3-5 years. These were used within hours of receipt, and were efficient, easy and comfortable. No bending, bowing or refusal at hard earth, clods, lumps or gravel. None of these characteristics of cheap were present. They got the job done. That the price including delivery, was better on Amazon than elsewhere, was also a bonus. The only negative was the packaging. It knocks a star off the 5, that this would otherwise richly deserve. I bought mail order. I don't need a clear plastic display lid. Attached with 4 plastic stickers to prevent pilfering, with 4 plastic cable ties to double protect against retail display shrinkage. My purchase didn't need any of this polluting landfill and plastic manufacture,

Not very robust.
A bit disappointed. The quality of most gardening tools seems to have deteriorated. I thought I'd try Spear & Jackson, renown in the past for making good tools. The first time I used the hand fork for some hand weeding, it hit a stone, bending one of the tyres badly. So not very robust. Update. It's one month after purchasing and the wooden trowel handle has now split in half. Absolute cheap rubbish!
