Toast after 25 cuts
I received this blade as a gift on December 9th. It made great cuts at first but was worthless by December 27th. I estimate that I made 25 cuts on ⅛” x 1” x 1” mild steel tubing. It’s possible it was my fault because I used it on my Dewalt 4000 rpm saw and subsequently learned it’s intended to be used at about ⅓ that speed.

Great Ferrus-Metal Cutting Blade
Cutting solid mild steel bars up to 1" by 1" is fast (maybe 20 seconds or so), easy, and accurate, leaving a really smooth surface. This is just as clean and accurate as using a miter-saw or a chop-saw on wood. I'd always cut steel with abrasive wheels or a cutting torch, and this is far an away the cleanest cut, requiring no dressing afterwards. After a few dozen cuts, it is still cutting just as fast and clean as when new --= no signs of wear. Time will; tell, but so far this is well worth it.

BEST... BLADE... EVER!
I've used a lot of different blades in my chop saw, diamond blades, DeWalt, you name it, but this Makita blade puts them ALL to SHAME. This blade goes through metal like a hot knife through BUTTER. I absolutely love it. It's the best cutting blade by FAR than anything else I've ever used. Makita hit a HOME RUN with this blade. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Dull after 1st cut
We cut one piece of steel with it and after that a regular chop saw blade was faster at cutting. Maybe it was made on a Monday idk. But I was not impressed with it.
