Smooth coloring
My kids love these gel colors. Great for a toddler to hold and because they twist it makes it easier for your child to not 'eat' the crayons! When coloring the texture goes on so smooth. I almost thought my children were painting! I would definitely purchase these again along with telling all my friends with children about them!

Vibrant colors and Smooth
I recently taught a women's class and the class members were asked to complete a campfire scene using these gel crayons. I don't have kids so I was concerned about how vibrant the colors would be--I needed this 16x20 campfire image they would draw on to be seen from quite a distance. I toyed with the idea of using acrylic pens--but they were too fine; wax crayons were too difficult for amateurs to get good results and then I found these NOYO Gel Crayons! Just from the description and reviews I knew these crayons could pull it off. The gel crayon colors are brilliant and clean--bright while all the way to deep black. I used watercolor paper for this campfire scene (which was 'pitted' rather than smooth--smooth would have been a better option) and the crayons went on like lipstick--very smooth, wide lines, filled in all the dimples; I thought the end result was terrific. Most class members wanted to know where I found the NOYO gel crayons. Kids and adults alike can use these NOYO gel crayons by hardly moving a finger.

Daughter loves these!
Overall, we are very pleased with these and recommend them to all our friends! Pros: Smooth glide makes it easy to color, many color choices. I got these for my daughter when she was about 2.5 and they are still her preferred coloring tool at 3. She likes these better than crayons, markers, and colored pencils. She will color with these for much longer than with anything else. I credit them for really getting her into coloring! They are fun to use because they are soft and glide really well on the paper so she can color a large area quickly. We also like the large color assortment. We have been using them almost daily for the last 6 months and her favorite colors are just now starting to run out. I will definitely be buying more! Cons: Not completely mess free, but washable. Case arrived cracked and one crayon lid was missing. These are soft and sometimes when she colors hard some larger chunks will come off and these tend to get smeared on the floor or her sleeves. I wouldn't let her use these on carpet. It does wipe up easily off of the floor or table and washes out of clothing. It will also rub off the paper onto other papers or fingers. Also, the case these arrived in was cracked and one of the crayons was missing a lid. These don't dry out (yay!) so it's not that big of a deal, but it did not arrive in perfect condition.

Awesome!
I can not say enough good things about these crayons! I am an art teacher and these are so versatile! I teach a toddler art class on Monday's and we have been using these for the last week. The images attached show or party painting, we also used dab a dots to create balloons in our confetti background where we discussed different lines and colors. Pros: they glide on the paper so smoothly and are dark and vibrant. Even my littlest students don't have to exert much pressure to make a nice dark line. They also offer a the ability to be used as watercolors. My students drew on watercolor paper then we applied wet brushes to the paper (they were so excited to see the colors mix! ). You can also use a wet brush on the crayon itself and then apply to the paper. They also blend really well together. The crayons themselves have a lot of crayon in them. I included an image of one rolled all the way out. Cons: the caps have glitter on them so the kids thought they were glittery. That is the only negative I have.

Vibrant, easy glide and washable. The best!
These are a must have! When the girls starting coloring with these (ages 5 and 3) the adults were like are those markers? What are those? Then a group of us just started coloring with them. We all decided we needed our own set just because they glide so smooth and are vibrant in color. They're amazing! Also they are washable. Very easy to clean up. There were a couple of spots that ended up on our carpet and couch and they wiped clean with no effort. We are a huge fan of these and make coloring a lot of fun! Highly recommend

More saturated colors than other brands, excellent customer service.
I used these [the orange and green ones] on and off for several months and was pleased with them, gliding toward a 5-star rating fer sure. THEN the green one revealed a piece of plastic molded into the bottom ~1/2" of the cylindrical coloring material which made that part unusable and the blue one wouldn't extend when the 'extender' was turned. I will wait to see if the seller will make this 'right' and if they do, I'll edit this review. From what I've seen so far, I'd not recommend purchasing these gel crayons for the 67-cents each that I paid. EDIT: The seller made a complete refund after seeing my experience in using their product. I believe they are sincerely, good people and since they expressed surprise at my finding these faults, I would suggest that others give them a chance to prove it. My use of the gel crayons involved layering a water-soluble color over the gel crayon and getting a different effect than would have been using ordinary wax crayons. UPDATE: Having nearly used these up [at least the intense colors] and having tried others' products which are less saturated I'm getting ready to purchase these again. I prefer them over the others!

Smooth and creamy, but for how long?
These "crayons" are absolutely wonderful. They glide on paper as easily as a shower-crayon glides upon a tub. The only difference is that it dries faster (when rubbed). That being said, I highly recommend crafting attire (and space) even when simply using them as crayons. It is absolutely necessary that they stay in their holders, because dry coloring with them caused my daughter's fingers to appear as if she had been playing with markers. The markings washed off easily enough with mild hand soap, but I can't say the same would work if it ever were to get on larger furniture. With Halloween around the corner, I imagine these might also work well for face or body paint, so long as it is kept out of the eyes of course. I love that they are set into their own container, though perhaps colored latches would help little ones find them easier.. (and tired eyes). The colors are definitely not your usual classics. Speaking of which, some of the crayon holders are so similar in shade to each other and out of sync with their actual crayon's color, that you have to lift them up and look at the tip to determine which shade of the color they actually contain. But for the most part, they are easy enough to distinguish. I certainly love these crayons, especially how smooth they glide, though I wonder how long they will last. My little one likes to press down hard (and I'm kinda hoping these will help to curb that tendency), so their softness is also a drawback as well as as a benefit. Only time will tell how well, and for how long, these hold up to the creative musings of family life.
