Works as promised and easy to install.
The speaker volume control works exactly as promised. The screw terminals for attaching input and output wires increased the ease and flexibility of installation. The unit fits in a typical single gang box. I used the slider volume control in an external box to control outdoor patio speakers. The controller came with four face plates of different colors which are more than similar products from other sources.

Great Value, great sound, great quality
Easy to install, just make sure to give some slack on the wires you’re feeding in. It operates exactly how I needed it to, as I have my receiver inside in my basement, and wanted to control the volume of my outdoor speakers outside. Didn’t sacrifice any sound, the music quality is perfect with no interruptions, there is no lack of power to the speakers with this (I am running 75’ of speaker wire), and the look is what I expected. Great value compared to overpriced alternatives

Best One I've Tried By Far
This is the fourth volume control I have tried and this is a keeper. I'm not sure why it took me this long to find it. I was looking for a volume control for an inside application that wasn't hideous. It was meant to be on the shelf with my stereo equipment. The first one didn't work at all. The next one seemed to work but if I turned up the volume of my stereo, the resistance in the controller was apparently too high and it over loaded two different receivers so that they shut themselves off. I tried one that is meant to be installed in a wall. Not only was it hideous sitting next to my receiver, there was a constant hiss coming from the speakers. Finally THIS PRODUCT. Meant for outdoor application but works great and looks fine next to my receiver - fully enclosed. It even has a switch inside that allows you to set the resistance depending on how many speakers you are connecting and the instructions are excellent - like real English with a diagram!!. Definitely recommend for purchase.
