We have a split king mattress which makes it hard to find a quilt that is big enough to drape all sides equally. On top of that, we live in East Texas where the weather flip-flops from cold to hot to cold & hot & humid from one day to the next, and we’re both “hot sleepers.” We turn into toasters when we sleep. So, it’s hard to find a quilt that’s lightweight for the warmer nights but warm enough for the colder ones. Making things even more complicated, I had a very specific vision in mind for my bedding/room decor that I was trying to create. I happened to come across this quilt in my endless searching and thought I would give it a shot. I was a little hesitant at first given that it says it is 90% polyester and only 10% cotton, so I was afraid it might be too harsh/abrasive or itchy. But the product description said it had the OEKO TEX 100 stamp of approval, so I crossed my fingers and ordered the grey & white quilt in king size. I’m so glad I did, and I couldn’t be more pleased! It is not stiff at all like some quilts can be. It’s super soft, so it drapes nicely. It’s thin but not paper thin and has some weight to it, but it’s not so heavy that it makes us hot. The stitching is authentic and not just a printed pattern like some of the other quilts I viewed. Polyester can tend to be very stretchy, but the stitching holds everything in place. It’s very simple, yet lovely and doesn’t look cheap at all like some others I’ve taken a chance on in the past. I scanned the OEKO TEX QR code, and it is a valid certification. The washing instructions say to wash on cold, but I had to wash on hot TWICE within the same week, because we have 3 kids and can’t have nice things! And I dried it on high heat both times, because I needed it to get dry fast so I could go to bed at a decent hour. I just knew it would probably shrink it up an inch or two. But there was zero shrinkage! One of the 2 incidents involved red kool-aid, which we all know manages to leave a stain on anything it touches. The spill was already dry by the time I discovered it, so I thought for sure the quilt was already a goner. But I was so pleased that a little stain remover and a quick wash took it right out! So now I know it’s not quick to hold stains either, making it just about the most perfect quilt one could buy for my household! I highly recommend this quilt to anyone who is eyeing it. I would say it’s comparable in quality and appearance to the Hearth & Homes by Magnolia that I almost bought from Target but for half the price! In fact, I might order another one in a different color just to have options and change it up a bit throughout the year!

I really like the feel, weight and quality of this set. It has even held up after washing. Great buy.

Although the bedding is pretty and soft, it came with multiple random brown stains. I’ve washed and used stain remover to try to lighten them. Seems like they were returned by someone else maybe

Dimensions in description and on the attached tag show 108x96 but when measured only 102x96. How can you be off by 6 whole inches?? I did not care for the stark white cheap cloth on the back of the shams. It would definitely have shown and not in a good way. Otherwise the quilt was nicely made and had a nice weight. Edges were nicely sewn.

Looks like the picture and nicely soft. White is a little towards winter white. The size is perfect for me; I didn't want it going all the way to the floor- except for the corners - , so it hangs a bit below the top of the box spring, and I got a new bed skirt to cover up. Nicely boxed, and spread and shams were good to go right away. Very pleased with my selection.

Very lightweight, and comfortable. Great for spring/summer.I’ve washed it a handful of times and it has held up great. The color is as pictured and can easily be dressed up with a throw or pillows. There is enough of a texture in the fabric that makes it visually more elevated.

Have not washed it yet, but really like how it looks in our beach house bedroom. The little stitched trout are such a cute touch. Adds a little personality.
