Please don’t get cheated. The product description is completely different from what I actually received. The listing clearly mentioned that it was wooden and came with a magnet, but the item I received is made of cheap-quality plastic and doesn’t even have a magnet. A similar plastic item is available in local shops for around AED 10. I’ve never experienced this kind of misleading product description with Amazon before, although I’ve faced similar issues multiple times on Temu. It’s really disappointing to see this happening on Amazon as well.

Good value for the price. Chess pieces are sturdy and stylish, and the magnetic bottoms do a great job holding them in place. The foam cutouts for storage of the pieces is also nicely sized, precenting them from falling out when opening the board.

Great set! Comes with an extra queen for both colors, came with all the right pieces and is a durable game board. Definitely a great price and a great gift idea, especially for those just getting into chess (too many expensive sets out there, this one does the job just fine). The magnetic pieces are helpful, though on occasion the pieces will attach themselves to one another (really that just happens if you act a fool like my boyfriend and I tend to, but if you're normal, it should be fine). The material is great, size of the board is perfect, worth the price for sure!
