Jack and his mother are so poor that they don't have anything to eat. Their hope is fading, until Jack meets a strange little man with a handful of magic beans. But what will be the price that Jack must pay? This classic fairytale is retold for young children and illustrated throughout with the bright artwork of Lorena Alvarez. My 3 year old son loved the illustrations in this book
My 3 year old son loved the illustrations in this book. The only complaint I would have is that it's not the full story.

The classic story told in a beautifully illustrated slim paperback
The classic story told in a beautifully illustrated slim paperback. I love the size of this book. The quality and illustrations is impeccable, like all Usborne books. My 2 year old loves it. The only downside is that the giant is a bit scary. "Fee fi fo fum, I smell the blood of an Englishman. Be he alive or be he dead, I'll grind his bones to make my bread." If you think your child can handle it then get this book. I think that line may be a bit inappropriate for some.
