AOYAN 18V 5.0Ah Lithium-Ion Battery Replacement with LED Voltage Display and interface of the USB charging for Makita BL1850B BL1850 BL1840 BL1830 BL1820 LXT-400 194204-5

I bought this product 6 months ago as a battery pack for my Makita Saw. It also doubled as a battery for my drill. The first time I went to charge it gave me a weird flashing error on the charger, but it did eventually charge. Over time and attempts to charge it appeared the voltage was dropping while on the charger, it eventually dropped to 0v and now it won't take a charge at all. Not sure how to prevent this, but I know my Makita Charger did not like this battery. I would not recommend this batter if you hope for it to last longer than 4-5 months.

So far so good. I love the voltage indicator, it tells much more than a couple lights, I have not run through several charge cycles yet so will know more later. The only thing I do not like is the micro usb connector with a cable adapter that you need when using the USB charge function. Why not just put a USB-A connector on it instead so you can plug a USB cable directly. If it had that I would give it a 5+

This is a great battery! I've purchased other 5.0Ah batteries and they lost their charge quickly. This batterries charge last a long time and the voltage display is great the batterry actually charges to 20V. I have not used the USB port but it seem like a quality connection and adapter cord. I highly recommend this battery, I will be purchasing more in the future when I need replacements. Thank you Aoyan, great battery, great price.

The battery arrived promptly, well packaged. I've used it thru a couple cycles of use and recharge, all is well to date. Used on Makita drills and reciprocating saw. My wife has a Makita hedge trimmer which will be the test, she nor the trimmer are kind to batteries, so I'll update if there is a problem. I suppose the charge indicator could be useful, not so sure about the charging cable.

High capacity battery fits my Makita tools fine. Display is convenient for checking the charge level. I haven't tried the charging cord for USB devices, but anticipate that it will be convenient when "off the grid".

Terrible!!! This battery dies without using it. I charged it over night and used it for a few minutes. Came back a few hours later, then it was dead. I thought it was because of my own equipment, so I charged it again and took it out of my drill . Tried using it again a couple of days later dead again.

Don't waste your money these batteries will not last 2 months I received my battery on December 23rd of 2017. I went to use it today March 7th 2018 and it is dead it will not take a charge.

Great replacement to my original Makita battery - given a new lease of life to my drill and impact gun with more power and life than they ever had. Display of voltage is useful, haven’t tried the USB port but could see it being handy.
