Dead on arrival; will not accept charge: DO NOT BUY!!!

The battery does not accept a charge.Do not purchase this battery. (And good luck out there. Replacement battery shopping is a house of horrors.)

*****REMOVE THE TAPE FROM THE CONTACTS*****
There is a tiny piece of tape over the contacts THAT MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE USE!!!Cosmeticly it looks just like my old battery except it's not all swole up.My battery came with 60% charge, so I fully charged it overnight.I left it unplugged all day, and after 15 hours, it shows to have 58% remaining.This is acceptable to me, I haven't had a lot of run time with it to see how it handles heavy use, but I don't expect it to run for days like the original battery would back in its prime, I've never seen a replacement battery that good.
