Menicon Progent Biweekly Contact Lens Cleaner, Removes Protein 7 Treatments

This was recommended by our eye doctor for cleaning our children's ortho-k hard contact lenses worn daily at night. They are used every two weeks to clean off proteins and help preserve the contact lens quality over time. We have used this product for about 8 years, and its high quality has remained the same. Our children have found that after usez they come back to cleaner and clearer contacts. His brings us ease knowing that the contact lenses on our children's eyes are in clean condition. The cleaner comes with 3 parts, each labeled clearly. None of the parts to directly into the ryes. It comes with a case that labels the left and right contacts and the fluids from each vial are used directly in the case. It takes about 30 minutes to go through the cleaning process. The instructions are clear even for an older elementary school student to follow with the help of an adult. We haven't traveled with it and have managed to use it just before or after a 2-week long trip, but the individual vials for each step would make it easy to carry on a trip. The price is higher than a daily cleaner, and it does take diligence to use it regularly every two weeks and plan for the time required to go through the entire process, but worth it to maintain clean healthy contacts.

This is a MUST to keep contacts cleaner if you struggle with any senstivities or have issues with natural protein build up. Be sure to use after soaking in overnight cleaning products such as Clear Care.

This is THE cleaner period. I’ve been wearing RGP lenses for over 12 years now so I’ve had my ups and downs. I’m not even close to the best person to keep them clean. Of course I used water to rinse them. Hence why I’m here a few months back I noticed white film build on both of lenses both sides. I tired the red cap clear plus (the one that bubbles) I noticed a slight difference and I just thought it was time to get new lenses. I read the reviews on here and I was yeah ok, for this price it probably isn’t going work that well and I’ll need a machine. Ladies and Gentlemen I was wrong! One treatment, 30 minutes and my lenses look and feel like I just left my doctors office with a new pair. I know in two weeks I might feel like I have two new eyes. I followed the instructions. It says 30 minutes. USE 30 minutes! I then rinses them with Bausch and Lomb saline solution and stored them with the Bausch and Lomb advanced cleaner and conditioner solution over night. I then woke up and rinsed them again with the saline solution. I can see clearly now (yes I sung the song). Please don’t go with cheap products use what the doctor recommends and from real patients like me. Or have fun spending $1100 for a new pair of contacts. My only recommendation is if your lenses don’t fit side by side turn the white lenses holder (plastic piece inside the green tip) to the middle. Once I did that my contact fit in the case. The pictures are before pictures and one to show that holders move. I don’t want to take my contacts out right now so show you an after picture. It’ works that well!

this stuff works and really cleaned my sclerel lenses, there was alot of protein buildup.

I've been using the Menicon Progent Biweekly Contact Lens Cleaner for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well it works. I wear RGP (rigid gas permeable) lenses, and over time they tend to get cloudy from protein buildup. After using this cleaner, the lenses are noticeably clearer and feel much more comfortable in my eyes. It’s a powerful solution that removes deposits better than anything I’ve used before, and the difference in clarity is immediate. You do have to be regular on the cleaning to keep them clean. It takes 30 min only. My eye doctor is currently on maternity leave, so I’m trying to make these lenses last as long as possible until she returns. This cleaner has been a lifesaver during this in-between period. It gives me confidence that my lenses are staying in top condition, even with extended use. I highly recommend Menicon Progent to anyone with RGP lenses who needs a reliable deep-cleaning option.

Good product.

removes the protein deposits. if your RGP lens irritates your eyes, one treatment removes it. just follow the directions explicitly. i thought i needed new contacts, but after using this cleaner, the old ones are fine. i highly recommend this cleaner.
