Bose QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones, Bluetooth Over Ear Headphones with Up To 24 Hours of Battery Life, Black

After hunting the Internet for reviews on what headphones to buy and what not to buy, I came across the new Bose Quietcomfort headphones, only released in the latter end of 2023. It was a toss up between these and the rivaling Sony WH1000XM4s, and these come out on top. Firstly, the sound of these headphones are near enough perfect. Straight out of the box, they are well balanced and offer a great amount of bass without distorting whilst also not drowning out the mids and the trebles. The box instructs you to download the Bose app and within this, you can adjust the EQ to your liking. Sound quality is very subjective and it must be understood that when looking at reviews for headphones, you may have different preferences when it comes to sound. And this is where the EQ comes in - you can adjust the bass, mid and trebles. As an audiophile myself, I am geared more towards crisp and non distorted sound whilst also preferring to feel the bass. These headphones do that. I have adjusted the EQ in favour of bass, slightly increasing the mid and favouring more treble too. They have a great balance and will not distort the sound. A tip for testing out these headphones whether at home or in the store would be to search for Spotify playlist specifically created to test out headphones with well produced songs of all genres. The fit is great and they are comfortable (as expected with the name). These are my first headphones due to always using earbuds in the past. They do not feel hot or close to the ear as reported sometimes with the XM4, and after trying out both of the headphones in store I can confidently say these are more comfortable. The build quality is as expected, they feel solid whilst also being lightweight and flexible. I will have to see how these last but judging by previous versions of the Quietcomfort, they will last a long time. I have seen quite a few issues reported online with the XM4 and XM5s breaking that hinge and this is not what you want from headphones whih are designed to fold. The ANC is great and is definitely industry leading. I haven't tried the XM4s NC fully so cannot comment on the comparison however these are far superior to my other wireless earbuds (pixel pro) and airpod pros. ANC on any headphones are not designed to block out 100% of noise however these come close to it. I cannot hear chatter or low frequencies and I believe these will perform well in noisy environments. They do have a slight (really slight) white noise when not playing music in ANC mode however you will not find a pair of headphones that will not as the technology is not advanced enough to do so. The aware mode is equally impressive and allows you to hear what you is around you and hold conversation without feeling like you have headphones on your head. The buttons are easy to use and controls the noise cancelling mode, volume, play/pause and the on and off switch. I do not like headphones/earbuds with swipe functions as they sometimes do not work properly and I struggle to see how physical buttons on these headphones will fail. These are the improved version of the QC45s with the addition of wind block mode which I had read was terrible on the QC45s. The drivers are reported to be better on the newer versions meaning more bass and better sound quality. If you are after a reliable pair of headphones then get these. They are expensive however are a great investment. The XM4s are slightly cheaper however have more reported issues, as with the QC45s.

1 month ago, I went to visit my parents for the weekend and my brother had a new pair of headphones. They cost him £40 and were discounted down from £80. I wanted to try them as I was also looking for a new pair of headphones as my skullcandy ones were 3 years old and were leaking sound when the volume was at 50%. His were nice but there music leak was about the same and I realised I was going to need to spend more money to stop this. So after some research and articles I discovered the Bose Quiet Comfort. These are the best headphones have I ever bought. They are ergonomic and comfortable. I can wear them to the gym or my Pilates workout and they do not move (they only move when I’m laying down doing stretches but it’s not a massive difference we are talking centimetres). I have had them now for a few weeks and they really do change how you listen to music. The quiet and aware modes are great for when I don’t want to interact with people and when I’m ordering coffee I just switch them to aware and bam I can hear people. I would recommend watching the video in the picture gallery to understand the modes. I like to listen to my music quite loud so even when listening at 50% you can hear everything perfectly and there is no leak. Of course they are not perfect so if ur listening on 100% you will be able to hear it but it’s only minimum; if someone was standing right in your personal space on a train they could hear, but walking down the street or shopping in a grocery store and there is about 1m distance between you and someone else they can’t hear. You can change the way you listen on the Bose App so I can change the base if I want that boost when listening to rock or metal. And they do what it says on the box for the month I have had them I have only charged them a handful of times. They really do have a 24hr battery life. If price isn’t an issue or you were looking at the QC Ultra like I was. The reason I choose the QC is because the Ultra only has more battery life: 36 hrs and they are more light weight so the QC is better value. And before anyone says you never tried the Ulta how would you know? My bf has the Ultra and also the QC and says there is no real difference in sound quality just battery life and weight. All and all these are a great purchase they are durable and long lasting. They are not too bulky and look stylish. Great gift and I would recommend for anyone who needs new headphones!

Love it! This is my second pair of these updated headphones in 7 years - and I needed these for my office space. Great sound, great noise cancelling, sturdy anouvh and come with a zipped case for protection when travelling. Connects instantly to my apple phone. Adjustable, easy controls, easy fit comfortable to wear. Great for strolling out - I don’t run, so can’t comment on that use. My only issue is that I haven’t been able to blue tooth it to my laptop (yet) and have to use the cable. Perhaps it’s because my laptop isn’t Apple? 💁🏼‍♀️

Bought these yesterday the shopping quality is absolutely fantastic. You download the app and it explains all you need to know and do. The buttons are very easy to use and are not fiddly like some I have had in the past. they are just the right size and for me perfectly . the sound quality is amazing and I also like that you can put them on to awareness as I walk to work so I will hear people approach so this will be helpful. The battery life is excellent and you also get another lead that you can use on the airplane when traveling so you can watch all of there movies too. the material on the headset is very soft and not rough they are also very light in weight, there where a few colours to choose from I went for the light blue and yes they are expensive but if you want good quality and for them to last you a long time then you have to pay for it. I am now looking at getting my husband some that's how good they are. Definitely worth buying I will get lots of pleasure from these

I’ve owned the QC35 for several years, so I had fairly high expectations going into these—and overall, I’ve been very pleased. Comfort is excellent, just as you would expect from Bose. I can wear them for long periods without any pressure or fatigue, which is still one of Bose’s strongest advantages. Noise cancellation is very effective and works well in everyday situations such as commuting, working from home, or travelling. It does a great job of reducing background noise without creating that uncomfortable “pressure” feeling. Sound quality is very good—clear, balanced, and enjoyable across most types of music. That said, when directly comparing them to my QC35, I personally find the QC35 to sound slightly better and more natural, particularly in the mids. The difference isn’t dramatic, but it is noticeable if you’re familiar with the older model. Build quality feels solid, pairing is quick and reliable, and the controls are easy to use. Battery life has also been excellent so far, easily lasting through long listening sessions. Overall, these are very good headphones that deliver on comfort, noise cancelling, and everyday usability. While I still slightly prefer the sound of the QC35, this is a strong alternative that I’m happy to use daily.

Very good quality, excellent comfort, long long-lasting battery life. You can connect up to two devices using the Bose app. The noise-cancelling feature is amazing, you are disconnected from the outside world! Very portable and protected as they come in a case. Highly recommend.

The most I ever paid for headphones was $250. But they all had the same problems. Sub par or weak noise cancelling, annoying battery life and were uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. I decided to take the plunge after watching a couple Youtube reviews. They all had positive things to say about these Bose headphones and said I wouldn't be disappointed. Oh Em Gee they WEREN'T KIDDING! You most definitely get what you pay for! The noise cancelling feature is awesome! It blocks so much noise and muffles out annoying high pitch or loud noises. For example: they completely block out my neighbors who talk loud, TV sounds, light stomping. It completely blocks out all outdoor car sounds. For louder noises such as power tools, hammer banging or very loud bass booming sounds, the headphones actually make them a lot more tolerable. They sound a lot more muffled and when listening to music, if I raise the volume it actually makes those loud sounds almost gone. I love it! The battery life for these things also blew me away. I still can't believe I was able to listen to game audio, TV shows, movies and music for 15+ hours straight from the moment I wake up in the morning to the second I take them off to go to sleep and still have another 8-10 hours for the next day all on a single charge! These things are so comfortable. My ears fit perfectly inside the headphones and it never feels like they're pressing against the legs of my glasses which other headphones create discomfort. Lastly, to those that say they had problems pairing these in Windows 11, they weren't detected at first, but all I did was reboot my PC, re-attempted the pairing and it found them immediately. I also made sure to update my motherboard Bluetooth drivers before the headset was delivered. I'm sure that helped too.

Very nice noise cancellation! Probably the best one. Very comfortable to wear. The only minus is there is no LDAC. Anyway, headphones are really nice!
