I received the Digital Hearing Enhance this morning, exactly on the day the seller stated What a fantastic product, excellent quality, good to look at etc. After charging both the devices via the charger provided, it was time for the test. I spent a few minutes reading the instructions then selecting the correct ear piece, I placed the unit behind my ear, the earpiece fitted snugly into my right ear canal. Volume control at lowest, turn on the switch and oh my a real Eureka moment. I could hear clearly for the first time for many many years. Truly amazing, I had been looking at hearing improvement devices for six months but was always put off due to the huge expense of many of them. I had been quoted £800 (yes eight hundred Pounds) by an audiologist on the day I ordered this Digital Hearing Enhancer My idea being to order as a trial, but having worn one in my right ear for a few hours. It has become my best friend. So if you are having a problem with hearing, in my opinion, splash a very small amount of cash on this truly amazing great value for money product

We were away for a few days and my husband left his hearing aid charger at home. We were going to a wedding and as he wanted to hear clearly we had these hearing enhancers delivered to our hotel. Unfortunately they were not very comfortable as none of the domes fitted well in the ear, and some domes weren't even in pairs. He tried to use them at the wedding but even with the volume turned to low were far too loud. So in all a waste of money!

I have ordered several pairs now over the course of the year. At full volume, the sensitivity varies from one device to another. But both performed well and I used the most sensitive one on my worst ear. They performed, amplification wise, better than my NHS pair. This was probably due to the NHS ones having a reciprocal response tailored to my ear's response. These cheaper alternatives are just straight audio amplifiers. So this had the effect of increasing all frequencies including the ones my ear is ok with. One of the drawbacks is a more clumsy tube & ear cup assembly. After a few weeks of use, the wire going to the earpiece becomes warped from constantly re-fitting the cup back in the ear, as the cup doesn't stay firmly in the ear like the NHS version. The NHS type has the active sound generating element inside the earpiece itself and the sound travels through a thin tube to the ear cup. So it makes for a firmer fitting. The biggest issue is the delicate plastic tubular piece that houses the tiny speaker, if you drop one of these hearing aids on a hard floor, the plastic piece shears in half. It happened a few days after I bought a second pair. The trouble is how do you get a replacement? Without buying a new pair, again?

My mother has had trouble with her hearing for some considerable time. Unfortunately when she had her stroke, the hospital managed to "lose" her hearing aids. On her release I contacted her GP and requested a hearing test and fitting for new ones. Three years later, we are still on a waiting list. By this time of course I was completely fed up. I called in another company who came out to test her hearing and then recommended a hearing aid that cost a four figure sum. Seriously, over a grand to hear properly, oh, and for the privilege of them visiting. Some short words were used to suggest they leave. So, we went on for a while having to wind the tv and radio volume up. Then my wife suggested I have a nose around on Amazon to see what was here. After a couple days browsing and discussing the various aids available we decided to give these a try. If they didn't work there wasn't a large amount of money invested and we could try something else. As it turns out, I didn't have to try anything, these worked just fine from the moment I put them on her ears. They are a little bit bulky and need to be tucked behind the ear with the 'tube' carefully bent around the ear or they will fall off quite easily. Once we had learned how to fit them properly they stayed on all day. They are light, and my mother has not complained of any discomfort wearing these all day. These are supplied with a battery charging unit (USB) but I don't think the batteries are re-chargeable. I bought spares just in case. I haven't yet managed to find batteries of that size which are re-chargeable, but that's probably just poor keywords or something. So, these aren't great but they do work, sound is amplified and fed through the tube to the ear. At low volume they didn't help much, but higher volumes seem to work well, so I guess her hearing is quite severely impaired. However, since she has had these she can join in with conversations and hear sounds that before were invisible to her. The radio and TV can be used at normal volumes and she can hear them properly. So, for that alone these are a bargain and a marvel. Her quality of life has risen considerably and she's much more cheerful - partly I guess because people don't have to shout at her any more. Build quality is pretty good, and they are finished in an attractive satin with no burrs, rough or sharp edges. Three different buds are supplied for the ear piece to allow for different ear shapes (I think) so should fit the majority of people. they are extremely light and we have not had to change the batteries yet (these were purchased in May.) Replacement batteries are available everywhere, but I've found them cheapest here on Amazon. One thing to note is that initially there is a feedback noise produced by these, but that occurs mostly if the ear buds are not inserted properly, or if you've used the wrong size bud for the ear. This feedback can be irritating, so it needs to be dealt with quickly. Once we found the bud that fitted my mother's ear and inserted them properly into the ear, there was no more noise or feedback from them. There is a small switch on the back of these to turn them on and off, and a small dial for volume control. It is easily adjustable to the wearer's needs, but might be difficult for old people as the switch and dial are very small. So, they may need help with that. For the pleasure my mother now takes in hearing music and TV these are worth every penny, and I'm so happy that we were able to find affordable aids rather than getting stung by our high street bloodsuckers. Delivery was extremely quick and they arrived undamaged.

Could not believe the clarity of hearing these aids gave me, compared with my NHS aid. The charger is difficult to master at first but it is a knack,and once you suss it there is no problem. The in ear part is unfortunately rather too large for me, but this is a fault with my anatomy rather than with the aids as I have an exceptionally small ear. Wonderful value for money.

Si tratta di un amplificatore audio, ovvero di uno strumento che amplifica tutto ciò che riceve. Quindi amplifica il rumore di una porta che si chiude, il rumore di un aspirapolvere o di una lavabiancheria in funzione, l'audio di un televisore, il telefono che squilla, la voce umana. Pertanto se il vostro problema è una LEGGERA ipoacusia con abbassamento lineare della soglia dell'udito, ovvero se alle frequenze basse, medie e acute sentite con difficoltà, allora questo amplificatore vi potrà giovare per sentire meglio. Regolate sempre il VOLUME al minimo per poi aumentarlo gradatamente e abbiate cura di INSERIRE CORRETTAMENTE il terminale dell'apparecchio nell'interno dell'orecchio per evitare quello che altri utenti spesso lamentano: sento un fischio! Per quanto riguarda il RUMORE DI FONDO, esiste sempre un leggero fruscio di sottofondo ma appena percettibile; invece, come ho già detto, qualunque rumore o suono viene amplificato. L'apparecchio è per sua natura fastidioso, per cui penso debba essere usato solo quando serve e non tenuto sempre. Comodo il sistema di ricarica automatica che evita il fastidio di aver a che fare con batterie in miniatura che sfuggono di mano facilmente! Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo. E' doveroso fare un complimento pubblico al team AMAZON per l'efficienza della sua organizzazione.
