Ends of Being (Ends World) Paperback – July 12, 2023

First, make sure you read the triggers, before reading this book. This book was Awesome. This book, grab me from page 1. I couldn't put it down. This is a Dark romance. This book has so many twists and turns, funny, dark, steamy, lots of action, has Wonder characters, and lots of other things. I'm so glad, I took a chance on her. 💓 the cover and the Blub, that what got me interested in this book. 💓 Dare and Toni. but, beware this book has a Cliffhanger, I was screaming😂😂😂, but then I realized, the next book was out. Reading it next. Putting this book, on my reread list. This book is A Must Read.

Intense, spicy, mysterious. Mercyann loaded this story with action and spice. I did get the audiobook version and these men's voices! Oof!! The characters have great banter. There is quite a bit of inner monologue from our female main character that had me rolling my eyes at her a bit but I did enjoy this story a lot! You will be left on a cliffhanger so now I need the next book!!

There's a lot of exposition thrown in at the end with a "twist" that might has well have been another book for all the sense it made. No rhyme or reason to how the book played out overall.

From the beginning, I was mentally screaming how much I related to Antoinette (FMC). I even highlighted a passage and showed my husband who agreed that that was me to a "T." That passage was on page 2, and from there, my excitement for this book continued to climb!Toni (Antoinette) is a strong bada$$ FMC who may have "f*cked around and found out" just how unhinged Darius (Dare, MMC) truly is. From her goading him in the opening line: "You're not bad boy enough to handle me." to pushing his buttons by calling him "Clark", you can feel the tension between them. I had assumed from the opening chapters that this was going to be a lightly dark office romance with darker themes, but boy, was I pleasantly wrong!The plot twists (and there were many) were so unpredictable that I enjoyed every minute of this book! I felt like every page just kept dragging me down further and further into the story that I couldn't stop reading. I wanted to know more, I wanted my questions answered. I wanted to know the big secret!We meet Tony and Matt relatively early in the story, and I can't wait to see more of Tony. I felt all soft inside when he would affectionately call our FMC, "Nettie." And might I add the sprinkled tension between him and Lilith??This is book 1 in a duet and does end on a cliffhanger. But that's all I will say! Check content warnings. There are plenty. Antoinette works with, and likes to push her coworker Darius to see how far she can push him. The chemistry between them is intense. She pushes him too far one day and the next thing she knows she is in a trunk. Can she escape or will he convince her to stay ? Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Amazing Book. I absolutely love Antoinette and Darius and the character development is amazing. Great supporting characters. This book is nonstop action, mystery, and sarcasm. The twist and turns make you feel like you’re on a roller coaster. This is the author’s debut novel and I will definitely be reading her books. Check trigger warnings. This book also ends on a cliffhanger. Book 2 is available.

This book was incredible! An hour into reading, I knew I had to purchase the second. The story is written SO incredibly well that I could not put it down! The writing *chefs kiss.* If you’re wondering whether you should purchase, do yourself a favor and jump right in, you will not regret it! I read a LOT and this has been one of my favorite reads of all time!

The advertisement and hype leading up to this book was really good and enticing however… once I got to this book, the whole time I was confused and lost. Clearly plot points were purposefully being kept from the reader (and FMC) but it just made it difficult to read.Only the last 25 ish pages where everything came together (sort of) did stuff start to fall in place.But even then, it left you wondering because of the cliff hanger

I can't believe this is a new author and this is her first book. So well written. The plot kept me turning pages late into the night. This story was spicy, intriguing and delectable. Can't wait for book 2.

This was such a quick, easy and enjoyable read. I couldn't put it down. There were loads of ups, downs, humour,twists and turns. I didn't expect the ending. I'd recommend this book to anyone.

What a story! 🥵Absolutely love Dare and his crew. There are so many secrets and twists. I'm super keen to read the second book to find out what happens!

Ends of Being is a dark romantic suspense with a load of smut, laughs, violence and some questionable moments!This story manage to grip me from the very beginning! The prologue is what gripped me and the plot throughout is what kept me going. The relationship between the two main characters is unmatched and the way they bounce off each other had me giggling whilst reading, these characters work very well together and their banter is portrayed in a very addictive wayI will add that whilst it is a good read, there are some things we don’t find out or don’t know but nevertheless it will keep you turning the pages!However at some points I was a little confused and had to go back and reread a section/paragraph but after doing that it did make sense!Overall this was a very good read! I managed to read it within a day as it kept me hooked, if you are looking for a quick easy read with dark romance - with smut, some violence and a couple of laughs I would highly recommend giving this a go!

Summers has such an easy to read writing style which makes it so easy to get stuck in, the story is amusing and keeps you wanting to know more. Love this!
