I was a bit sceptical to get this, but this did not disappoint! It looks amazing! This was a bit of a task to remove some pieces and hide some wires. Definitely worth the end result. I would definitely get another for my next set and I would definitely recommend this to anyone. All the lights worked and all the pieces were there. One thing I will say is check all the bags when it says brick parts. I started to panic because I didn't see a bag labeled with brick parts. Low and behold it was in one of the light bags. The instructions were easy to follow just like when you build this set.

The instructions are all pictures and icons, like IKEA instructions. I would look up how to install it on youtube for a good walkthru. The challenge to get the cords under the water tiles can be challenging but if you stick to it, the end results are worth it. You can power it with 3 AA batteries or connect via USB.

I worked on this light kit for the Tranquil Garden Lego kit for a solid month. To say the least, the end connectors were difficult and tedious to connect to the power strips. The instructions were fairly easy to follow and I did watch the QR video code offered in the kit for installation. At the end, I was down to the last two lights to hook up the to power strip when suddenly all of the lights failed. I also learned that the ability to send the kit back through Amazon had expired by one day. The return instructions with Brixmax is very time consuming and expensive. I wish I had a lighted Tranquil Garden, but alas, I finally gave up.

Most people build Legos for relaxation. This product provides the exact opposite. You will spend hours and hours trying to follow the obscure directions, using arcane tools to move impossibly small wires and fiddly, unmarked plugs. You will create an ugly birds-nest of wires acrost your painstakingly built Lego model, destroying its aesthetic appeal. You will get the LEDs to light - briefly! - and glimpse the potential of this lighting set as the teahouse bathes you in its warm glow. And then the lights will blink, once, twice, and be forever extinguished as the unbelievably small power cable severs itself from its plug. You will fume. You will curse. You will apologize to your Legos as you rebuild the entire Tranquil Garden now sans ugly wires. You will reflect on your lack of tranquility. I am returning these for a refund. NB: Lest you think I don't enjoy impossibly small fiddly crafting, I am a fly tyer. And for what it's worth, I also have a PhD, so intelligence probably isn't the issue either. These are just crap.

Kit was relatively easy to put together and light and looks fantastic when turned on. This is one of the better sets to light up and this kit made it very easy!

After being halfway through the installing process, my boyfriend and I spent the past twenty minutes trying to figure out why the lights were not working (you don't have the opportunity to test the lights until you have installed them). This was a gift for him, and I am so disappointed with the kit. The instructions are only based on images and symbols, and the lighting of the pictures makes them very hard to understand. We still pushed through the confusing instructions, hoping it would be worth it, only to find out the kit has been broken all along. I spent a lot of time finding the best light kit and decided to get this one, but I guess I should have bought a different one.
