Will this work with a PS5?

Unfortunately no.The PS5 uses a PCIe Gen 4 M.2 NVMe SSD. I would suggest doing some research because the PS5 only takes very specific drives.

However, the Lexar® Professional NM800PRO with Heatsink M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe SSD does and is also compatible with PS5. I have an X99 motherboard and it uses 4-lane PCIe bus for m.2 ; Is this SSD compatible with a Gen 3 interface?
