You will have to install the handle on the lid. I plugged my skillet into my Bluetti power supply to try it out. I put some cooking oil in the pan and meat was sizzling in a few minutes. I believe the trick is to cook thin pieces of meat so it cooks faster and done. I don't think it would do a good job on a thick steak but should have no trouble with stir-fry cuts of meat. It will do the job it is designed to do but you can't overload the pan or rush the cooking time. Good for RV, tiny home and off grid small meal cooking. I plan to use RVing, camping and power outages. I would buy again.

Use lots of cooking spray!!! Hope some starts making one with Teflon soon.

I brought this product in order to be able to make eggs on the road. I am an over the road truck driver and only needed it to cook my eggs. Unfortunately, it takes 30 to 40 minutes to make cooking an egg in this pan. It does not get hot enough to fry an egg. I contacted Amazon support and they referred me to the manufacture. This was only two weeks after buying the product. No one wants to refund my money or allow me to return the product. Very bad customer service. Hope this helps you save money.
