Good sturdy item
Good sturdy item, I used it for a loft hatch catch and it works well. You will need to buy separate screws for it though.

Solid brass but needs a little fettling
The screw holes are somewhat small and because I used this latch to secure an attic hatch, I needed to use stronger screws and consequently had to ream out the screw holes to take the larger screws. But since the unit is brass, this was a quick job with an electric drill. Otherwise very satisfied.

Rubbish
No idea why everyone thinks this is worth five stars. Poorly cast, wonky everywhere, not a straight edge on it, rattles but somehow also doesn't close easily. Maybe people want a handmade (in the dark) "rustic" aesthetic? I'd rather have something nicely made that works. Bought a machined Chinesium version instead, pack of 2 for 2/3 the price.

Le support est bon, mais assez fragile au niveau de la boucle qui sert a l'ouverture, faire attention de ne pas forcé, sans quoi, la pièce ce plie facilement !
