It fit fine and it works right.
This battery is a replacement battery for an old HP laptop, parts for old laptops can be hard to find. This battery plugged right in and worked.

I waited years before I bought, price was much less than I expected and it works great.

Very poor product.
The fit was bad, had to play with to get it to seat properly. Only charged to 94% and wouldn't let the system start after boot. Removed the battery put old one in and the system booted fine.

Perfect Battery for you older HP Laptops
I have an older HP Laptop it's hard to get a battery that work's right. This one work's Great! For the price.

So far, NOT so good -- but could be my own fault
The new GHU battery fits fine in my HP DV7T-3000 CTO laptop. The problem I am having is that even plugged in, when I cold-boot the laptop it will not go past the "hp" logo / BIOS screen with the GHU battery installed, and I can't get into BIOS when it's in this frozen state. When I put the old HP battery back into the machine, it boots fine. I tried swapping the batteries while the machine was on and plugged in, and the battery charges and reports status fine -- it arrived with 45% charge and I let it charge overnight to 100%. I can remove power while the GHU battery is installed and the laptop continues to run fine, with % power decreasing slowly as expected. I used HP's diagnostics app to run a reset/calibrate operation on the battery, which completed with a green checkmark. Still, I can't *boot* with the GHU battery installed, I must boot with the OEM battery or no battery at all. I am guessing it's something on the laptop end, or it just doesn't accept the battery as a legitimate replacement part. Still investigating.
