TRU Airbrush Makeup Kit Fair Mineral Foundation 8 Piece Cosmetic Set

There I was one morning recently putting on my makeup without my glasses and contacts and I heard the breaking of glass as in my nearsightedness I had accidentally knocked over my bottle of foundation and it broke. When I went online to buy another bottle Amazon suggested I do better and showed me the TRU Airbrush Mineral Makeup Set Essentials Kit. I have a makeup partition that I place a little bit of money in each pay period. With this, I realized I was able to purchase one of these Airbrush kits. If you buy one of these DO NOT GO INTO DEBT to do so. Make sure you make wise purchases, no debt. I knew quite a bit about Airbrush makeup. For years when I was an actor (Screen Actors Guild Member,) I would have my makeup professionally applied by a makeup artist using airbrush. I had paid attention and realized this was the easiest, quickest and most sophisticated way to apply makeup. I also realized if my glasses and contacts were off I would never break another makeup bottle using airbrush. So, I purchased a TRU Airbrush Mineral Makeup Set and I am pleased with its performance. First, let me say it is quieter than other models I had experienced. Very small footprint, it is well made and designed. The applicator is gorgeous, gleams, and feels great in the hand. The hose is nice and thin, not thick like some others I had seen. I find it easy to apply my makeup this way. I can even apply it with my glasses on and found I do not have to take them off except to place foundation on the side of my face and do my blush. The makeup is high quality, and vegetarian, which is very important to me. I am glad I made the switch to TRU Airbrush for most of my makeup. Some tips I have are if the makeup is stuck and it is not easy to put a drop into the applicator take a small straight pin and press it into the hole to clear it swiftly. After use and after rinsing with water turn the compressor on high and place a finger over the opening, get any remaining makeup to back bubble by depressing the trigger. Then place a cloth in front of the opening, remove the finger and pressing the trigger, flush any remaining makeup onto the cloth for a pristine, quick clean. If there is remaining blush instead of rinsing it away, apply it to the lips. Get the applicator closer and place the compressor on low and apply the leftover blush color to the lips and eyes (as key highlights in a small area,) as additional eye shadow. Or if a man it can be applied on the nipples or around the muscle line of the pecs or abs to accent them. Not a terrible machine. This is my first airbrush set and I’m sure application gets easier with time. Sadly my skin tone is many shades lighter then the foundation if you offer a white shade to tone down the foundation that might be something to consider adding to your kit. Unfortunately I did not receive all the items displayed I was excited because this kit came with a spray bottle to clean it. My set did not come with that spray bottle. All in all not my best Amazon buy.

I like the product. But the color is way off for me. I purchased medium, and ive tried mixing equal parts, and two drops of one and 2 of the other I can't seem to figure out the color. I look extra orange with everything. I bought the light tone as well and hopefully that will help? I also found it hard to see when the makeup is actually being applied. It seems like a great idea but I found it very challenging to use.

Well I read reviews before I purchased. And I am in agreement and in love! My skin has never looked better! And it's less time consuming then Foundation. You cannot feel it on your face Love the blush

I have only used this product a couple times so far but I am very very happy with it. The makeup comes out so smooth much better than with a blender. I used to look so silly when I tried to put on blush with a brush but the airbrush machine makes it look so much more natural. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone especially for the price!

I’m still getting used to using this product. I’m hoping with time I get better at applying it for correct color matching . The product does seem to last once it’s applied.

I received this product with a note that the travel bag was on back order and would be sent I. 2 weeks. It has been 2 months and no bag and no message from the companyThe product itself is terrible. The compressor never changes level and so much make up comes out that I still have to spread it around d for an even look. it is very heavy and I get a better look from liquid foundation from a bottle. I do wish I had not spent my money on this product. I could have spent half as much on regular make up and gotten better results.Do not waste your money like I did.

I will not ever use any other makeup as long as I have plenty of TRU on hand. I love this airbrush system. The foundation is so light and smooth. It provides beautiful coverage. I save a lot of time putting on makeup with this system (much faster than traditional makeup application). This makeup is going to be highly recommended to my friends and family.
