The book is good, but the cover is damaged and this is a expensive book.

Bellissimo libro, uno strumento utilissimo nello studio e nel riconoscimento delle patologie degli individui non adulti. Ho acquistato l'ebook per poterlo portare sempre con me e per poter avere le immagini a colori. Peccato che molte immagini non siano molto nitide e abbiano poca qualità. Rimane comunque un'opera straordinaria della Dott.ssa Lewis!

Mary Lewis has written a wonderfully detailed and much-needed reference book on this topic. Unfortunately Academic Press/Elsevier has chosen to print it using what apparently was a photocopier that was running out of toner. In this field that relies almost exclusively on visual information for initial identification and analysis of lesions, every image in the book is too dark and blurry to discern any details. The images are useless. On other pages, bands of white or too-light toner run vertically across the page, with occasional variation seen in bands of too-dark toner. When I complained to the publisher, I was offered only an e-copy to replace my very expensive hard copy of the book. Don't order this until Elsevier produces a decently printed copy. I feel so sorry for the author, who certainly did not do all this wonderful work to have such a completely disappointing production.
