Just fine for Match Play
Penn tennis balls are good balls. I see all kinds of ridiculous and unwarranted negative comments about them. I’ve been playing tennis with both Penn and Wilson tennis balls for more than 40 years. Penn makes good tennis balls…great quality. No one I’ve played with has had any negative comments about Penn tennis balls. It’s simply, “thanks for bringing the balls.” I can’t account for shipping issues. However, I’ve never received any opened or soft cans in my cases of balls, including the ones that arrived today. Buy with confidence…you’ll love ‘em.

Awesome balls, great life so far...
I buy my son about 100 balls every so often so he can practice without having to spend half his time picking them up. He just graduated from Green to Yellow balls and he loves these! They are great and they are holding up really well so far. It's been a couple of months and I'm hoping to get 6 or more out of these and I think we'll make it.

Not satisfied at all. Many of the cans had balls that were duds
I am very unhappy with these balls. Many times over the course of a season of tennis I've pulled out a can of new balls and opened them to play a match and had the balls seem like they are half-dead. Low bounce. No pop. Not at all like a new ball should be. The first few times this happened I thought it was just bad luck and that I got a bad can but I never expected this to continue as I worked by way thru the cans. If I had opened all the cans at once and known this I would have asked for a refund for sure but since I was taking a can here and there every 1-2 weeks but the time I realized this was not just an isolated problem but going to continue I figured it was too late to try for a refund. So I had to swallow the fact I had 24 cans of new balls and probably half of them I trashed and bought new balls from the pro shop. I showed the cans to my tennis pro and he said they looked legit and were Penn balls, not labeled as second or any sign of them not being 1st quality but none the less they were NOT. Would not recommend these balls.

good value
good value. balls have held up well. good for practice and usta matches. Do have to replace after a set or two when playing 4.5 or above. good for a full match for 4.0 and below.
