Silvertone SD3000PAK NA Acoustic Guitar Pack - Natural
A very nice first guitar with good sound. I've wanted to learn to play for many years so was looking for something decent to start out with, but also didn’t want to spend a lot just in case things didn't work out for some reason. The Silvertone SD30 guitar itself seems nicely made and the fit and finish is very good. The tuning machines on the head stock seem to work fine and after the first couple of initial tunings, the guitar now stays in tune when stored between uses.Everything listed in the description was included, although I haven’t actually used the digital tuner that came with the guitar yet since I bought a Snark SN1 tuner at the same time I purchased this guitar, so I can't comment on how well the one included works. The extra steel strings that came with this are a nice bonus, even though I'm still using the original set that came on the guitar. The adjustable nylon strap is long enough for me to wear comfortably and also included the string to attach it at the neck of the guitar. The vinyl storage bag is unlined, but still good for basic protection from scratches and keeping dust off the guitar while storing it at home between uses. It has a zippered pouch in the front that is big enough to store some music sheets, extra picks and other odds and ends. There was also a chord chart, a four pack of various colored plastic picks and a hex wrench for neck adjustment included. The guitar was well packed for shipping and arrived in perfect condition. It was actually triple boxed in addition to being wrapped with foam sheet and enclosed in its vinyl storage bag, which made for a safe and surprise free delivery via UPS. Overall, I am very happy with the SD3000 guitar pack. It has been working perfectly for my learning needs and at less than seventy dollars including shipping from Amazon, I think it was an excellent value.

Great deal, great guitar
I've wanted to continue learning guitar for some time now, but hadn't seriously looked at guitars because they were mostly out of my price range. When I found this on Warehouse Deals, and after reading reviews, I decided to go for it. I'm glad I did.The guitar itself is beautiful. Much nicer than the nylon-stringed Wal-Mart quality guitar that I began learning on. I'm an average sized woman, and for a beginner, the small size is perfect for comfort and quickly looking back and forth between the pick/fingers and the frets. The steel strings produce a much richer sound, but I'm looking forward to having more callous on the pads of my left fingers.Including picks, a tuner, a strap, and strings saved me so much money. Initially I'd looked at each individually, and this package saved me a good $50 in that regard. The first thing I did when I got it was snap the high E string (did I mention I'm a beginner?) and I was glad that there was another one included so that I could play right away.If you want to learn guitar but you're on the fence about what to get, I highly recommend you go with this one. I scoured Amazon for better deals (with regard to quality) and couldn't find any.

What a great buy.
I bought this guitar about 3 weeks ago. I received it in less than a week, which is not impressive... unless you live in the Kingdom of Bahrain like I do, then it is totally awesome! Nothing gets here that quick. Especially when you take into account the civil unrest we are experiencing at the moment. The guitar arrived with the packaging completely unharmed, though there was a tiny chip in the neck of the guitar on the side. Must've been a careless factory employee or something. The guitar itself is beautiful in its simplicity and sounds just as good, if not better than the Taylor guitar my friend just bought (better, meaning I paid about 1/10th what he did LOL. It also stays in tune very well, only one string needed tuning after sitting for 3 days (mind you, I have air conditioning though) My opinion, if you want to learn to play acoustic guitar but aren't sure how much you're willing to commit. This is the guitar for you. The electronic tuner is perfectly adequate and also has a socket to plug in my electric and bass guitars, with settings to accommodate both too. It also comes with 4 picks, a strap, an extra set of strings, and an allen wrench for which I have no idea what it is used for but, ok. Also included is a one page chord starter guide but, if you really wanna learn something check out [...] I am certain you will enjoy this guitar. Oh, one last thing, it is designed in the U.S.A. but made in china.

Love the guitar! Rest of the package is so, so.....
I am new to playing the guitar but I do love this one. It has a nice solid feel to it with an awesome black finish and great sound. Even the strings are easy on my fingers. It arrived pre-strung which was cool but of course it will need to be tuned. An electronic tuner is included in the package which must be used in a quiet room to be able to get an accurate reading because it will pick up on backround noise. Also included are a gig bag which is very basic (thin, no padding) with a front pocket to hold goodies. If you value your guitar I would advise buying a hardcase instead. Then of course there is a chord chart, guitar strap, and picks, also very basic. Again you will probably want to replace these items as well. One plus though is an extra set of strings which will come in handy. In all honesty I like to think that my money went toward the guitar and the cheap extras were just that. Cheap extras. But considering I only paid $100 I think I got a pretty good deal. I even had one of the local guitar shops inspect it for me and the guy said it was a really well made guitar and perfect for the beginner/intermediate player such as myself. I had a look at a few other places around town and couldn't find anything this nice for anywhere near the same price. I am not disappointed in the least with this guitar.
