This is a useful tool to have around. As a rather safety conscious person, I thought it'd be good to periodically check my tyre depth. Very easy to use, just put the needle in the deepest parts of the tyres across the central 3/4 of the tyre and measure the depth! This is a great tool to check up on my tyres. The only issue is that the scale is quite fiddly to read. That's not a major issue, but it would be useful to have one large scale in mm. I find I don't need to use the inch scale, but maybe its useful for others! Overall, a great tool to have on hand!

A really useful little tool for checking tyre condition accurately. I bought the GODESON tread depth gauge because I was preparing my car to be handed back at the end of a PCP agreement and wanted to make sure the tyres were within the required tread depth before the car was collected. It’s very straightforward to use simply place the gauge into the tread and the reading is clear and easy to understand. The glow-in-the-dark design is a nice touch, especially when checking tyres in darker conditions or a garage. It’s small enough to keep in the glovebox and feels well made for such an inexpensive item. It gave me peace of mind knowing I had checked all four tyres myself before handing the car back, rather than relying solely on the collection inspection. A handy tool for anyone regularly checking their tyres or preparing a car for return.

The numbers are too small for a quick glance unless you have damn good young eyesight. Would have been better to have a lesser number of divisons between mm but have them a larger size. The glow in dark idea is a gimmick. Basically you need good light and keen eyes to see this. I also purchased the dial type version from another supplier which was brilliant and a much better idea.

Works well, the tyre caps fit on easily and securely, and the tyre gauge is relatively easy to read.

I wanted a traditional simple tread depth guide and this looked the best. It’s ok and what I wanted, just not as well made as the old one I used to have.

I wanted to make sure that my winter tires' treads were still deep enough so I wouldn't have problems driving in icy or snow conditions, and this depth gauge is perfect. To sum things up, it is simple and effective. I recommend this gauge to anyone, it saves you money so you don't have to pay a mechanic to measure tire depth, also from those want to rip you off by telling you that you have to buy new tires. As long as the depth is still good (showing as green on the gauge), then your tires are still safe.

Very handy and easy to use. Someone who doesn't even have knowledge of tire depth can use this. Color coded makes it easy to understand. Very small, lightweight and can fit inside wheel well. No batteries needed.
