the foam is great and absorbs impact very well so less strain on the knees.it's easy to trim and fit.lack of arch support puts a lot of strain in mid-foot.a bit expensive for what it is.

I have flat feet and varicose veins and get foot and leg pain with prolonged walking or standing. I tried many types of shoes and insoles, and landed on this one. Some of the other insoles and gadgets that boast arch support actually made my feet hurt more due to the way my feet tends to land while walking. I didn't think these were going to do much for me when I first got them, but they are surprisingly comfortable and definitely have contributed to eliminating my foot pain (I also got compression socks). I love that they are easy to trim and fairly priced. I have these on subscribe and save now and change them out about every 3 months (my sneakers get daily use as I walk with my dog).

I needed slim and flat insoles that could be used over my existing boot's insoles that already had arch support. I didn't want the cushions to be too bulky since I was stacking them inside my boots. Luckily, my boots had plenty of room and they fit perfectly inside! My boots by itself felt fine, but the upper feet area felt too firm. The additional insole was just what I needed.If you're looking for thicker insoles with built-in arch support to completely replace your old insoles, then I'm not sure if these would be enough on their own. Appearance wise, they look exactly as shown in the pictures--slim, flat, and lightweight.
