I was phoned (which was a real positive customer relations) and sold the right post for the gate I bought. Only issue was it was far too long and needed an 18 inch plus deep hole to get it to a reasonable height to the gate I had bought. So in the end I to take an angle grinder to the bottom to make it fit the hole I was able to dig.

perfect to fit the railings or gate to. They are very strong when cemented into the ground. There are 2 different sizes which both match the balltop railings or gate. 50 or 70mm

It is a lovely gate and the posts complement it. It was easy to fit and adjust to size but the catch, to keep it closed, looks a little strange. It does work and I guess it keeps the price down by having a simple one. I would recommend this gate, the posts and company to anyone who wishes to use them.

Used these posts to mount my new gates. They seem well made and straight forward to install. Easy to drill with an HSS bit.
